Jazz-adjacent : Most likely to be able to read music. Also the most likely to be foisting music on kids who don't want it.
Garage Rock : Usually fine if not divorced, otherwise much less so.

he probably fits on the jazz adjacents with this exemption, the other thing he enjoys a lot is mpb which is short for brazilian popular music, and he did play the trumpet when he was younger so he can still read music

It's horrible neoboomer butt rock basically. They used to be better of course (even though I think they were never one of the better punk bands) but the album is just horrible in a really bizarre way. I'd say it's actually worse than Imagine Dragons' latest stuff, just everything about it and its marketing was terrible.
I'm not absolutely crazy about DK either but their best stuff is definitely much better and more biting than anything by Green Day and they never made anything as bad as Father of All Motherfuckers (which is no big achievement). After all the Romney dude wasn't in the band yet when their last album was released.

Plus, Jello and the Kennedys were talking shit about Diane Feinstein and Nancy Pelosi back when they were still local politicians. Yeah all your heroes die young or get old enough to become losers, but the music they made was full of theory, and performing that shit live is straight up praxis. They had a heavy hand in defending the SF punk scene from Nazis too.
