Smh the bot doesn't respond to non-hexbear posters
I just realized that the lack of feathers on the Jurassic Park dinosaurs can be explained by the
lizardfrog DNA they used to fill in the gaps.Wasn't it frog DNA? After they find the nest of hatched eggs, Grant points out that several species of frog will spontaneously switch sexes in a monosex environment in order to facilitate mating.
Yeah,
some scientistthe animated cartoon DNA character says they usedreptile DNA or somethingfrog DNA. They don't mention feathers, though, because that wasn't current science at the time.Yeah I was thinking of Henry Wu in Jurassic World, I thought he specifically said feathers but he just says “If their genetic code was pure many of them would look quite different, but you didn’t ask for reality, you asked for more teeth!”
The first Jurassic World is… fine. The ones after that are awful.
Nah I was wrong, I remembered the scene saying feathers specifically but he just says “they’d look different”
The bot... respects Unicode text directionality? I love it lol
Although... actually I wonder if there's a limit on how many times it can respond in a single thread or some other kind of rate limit

lol I actually didn't think about that. It just uses regular regexp.MatchString function that comes with Go's core library

bot does not have a rate limit, but the website does. If the bot doesn't respond immediately then it either hit website's rate limit or there were some network problems on the server
