The 2022 election will actually be the most important election of our lives and I am getting in line right now.

lmao, he was never about debt cancellation. IIRC, his own website said they would only be doing debt forgiveness for people with certain types of debt who made diligent payments on it for like 10 years, and even then it would only be for like 10k.

So good news for the 500 total people who fall into that category

I wrote my tagged people on Twitter about debt cancellation. They say: There are bigger problems now!
What is a bigger problem than a 3-4 digit amount of debt being stolen from you month after month during a pandemic?

Hey now, We've got to argue about doing a one time payment that may or may not cover that for that one time!

The only promise Biden will keep is when he said nothing will fundamentally change

He never supported it and it won't pass. Your best case scenario is Congress tosses in 10k of debt relief in a stimulus bill and Biden signs it. If you think we're getting 50k you're dreaming.

He still has the ability to just do away with all the student debt with the stroke of a pen. No Congress needed. Only if it gets very specific or automated is congress needed. He could even with executive action cancel some debt, as long as it isn't too random.

They backed off from 50k to 10k almost immediately. And only if it gets bipartisan support from Republicans which won't happen

I think there was talk of going through with it after that fails but he'll probably come up with some excuse not to

Biden's entire career is economic warfare on Millennials and Gen Z. Those generations were mostly just kids or teenagers when he passed the bill in 2005 making it impossible to discharge school debt via bankruptcy.

You think he's going to do a 180 now? He thinks immiserating people is good politics. The man is a truly vile human being, scum of the Earth.

I do kinda think they should wait until after the covid relief, but

its still probably not gonna happen.

Chuck Schumer might actually push it through, but he's probably fine with just talking about it. He's scared of AOC lol, but he's gotta be really scared before he's gonna get off his ass about it.
