Creator Backlash: The boys absolutely loathe their Reddit fandom, as the /r/ChapoTrapHouse was slowly taken over by angry pro-PRC/ Russian tankies with a virulent hatred for anarchists, and even tried to get it banned. Sure enough, the sub and its "tankie" spinoffs were banned.

Where is this pro-Russia shit coming from, did any of these people ever even visit the sub

    Under YMMV broken base

Among its far-left fanbase, you've got anarchists (who tend to loathe authoritarian governments) and "tankies" (supporters of Stalin, Mao, modern-day Venezuela/China/Russia, etc) who virulently hate each other just as much as they love the boys' takedowns of the mainstream left, often duking it out over whether or not the group supports authoritarian leftist regimes. Chapo themselves really dislike the latter.

Reminded tvtropes is a wiki and wiki still very right leaning.

Yeah for like trivia it's good but politics is what. I still sometime browse but only for fictional things or some speculation on nerd shit. I think we could change or add things but might be an uphill battle.

Lmao at this being described in the same cadence as the 4chan Warhammer tabletop wiki

Despite being a stupid 4chan wiki it's usually the only place which describes what is interesting and special about an rpg in a concise way. Either than than you'd end up reading a Wikipedia page that doesn't really tell you shit or novel-length rpg.net review.

And it also tells you the stupid shit that GW does in a concise way. I definitely prefer 1d4chan to any Warhammer wiki.

Pretty sure every inside joke for the pod is on there, lol. Of course you get something like this in the intersection of people who update tvtropes and people who listen to political podcasts.

It's Pronounced "Tro-PAY": Felix has been known to pronounce caveat as "kuh-VEET" instead of "KA-vee-aht", and Amber has ribbed him about it on at least one occasion. Will has also been chastised for having pronounced zine note as "zyne" (rhyming with "mine") instead of "zeen". Amber owns Felix again in Episode 114 for pronouncing Geocities as "jee-YAW-suh-teez" instead of "JEE-o-sit-eez". In episode 119, Will pronounces armistice as "ar-MISS-tiss" instead of "ARM-iss-tiss" and is instantly reprimanded.

I'm in love with whoever researched and wrote this.
