Lmao this maybe kinda illustrates a point, I don't know, help me round this out if you want to.
So there's always this stereotype of leftist infighting, but maybe its because we're always on the back foot, struggling, under pressure, and that pressure causes us to be hostile because we're facing an uphill battle so everyone has their own idea how to climb this mountain. Our sectarianism is lamentable but it also breeds new ideas about how to solve the same problems.
Meanwhile, on the right, they seem like they have their shit together but it's just because they're following the path of least resistance. Once they encounter any kind of discouragement or pushback they're more prone to infighting because they don't know what to do when they encounter resistance. They've had it on easy mode the entire time. And since they are a bunch of authoritarian individualists, the only people they can blame when shit goes wrong is anyone except themselves. They already think they "have the answer" to their problems, so obviously, it's everyone else's fault that it's not working out. The real pitfalls of 'putting the cart before the horse' mentality.
I am an orthodox ML, for the record, but I don't buy into dunking on Anarchists because we all want the same goal yet we have different ideas about how to achieve it. That is actually awesome. That is actually really fucking cool. I find it comforting. We are trying multiple attempts, and the law of averages says that is far better than just doing one thing. Capitalism is a hydra, wielding class and race antagonisms like weapons to bludgeon us all. Maybe it will require attacks from multiple fronts to bring this wretched beast down.

That's fine. They're still a problem but less coordination and less leadership makes them less able to act overtly. They can still do terrible terrorist shit but that isn't as effective at rallying political support and bringing about long term change.

My experience is that fascist groups have much more infighting, splintering and a lot shorter lifespan than leftist organizations typically have. I’m not the least bit surprised they are breaking apart at the seams. Good news though 💯
