Surely this will convince AOC to stop making even minimal effort to appeal to Dem establishment...

If I were AOC I'll make it very short:

"Listen, fuck capitalism, fuck the police, fuck the state, VIVA FIDEL, Viva la Revolución, fuck the Clintons, Biden is a Rapist, Trump is a pedophile, fuck electoralism organize and overthrow capital. Thank you very much!"

I hope she walks out on stage in full Joker makeup and tells everyone that Kamala is a cop who plans on killing Joe in his sleep after he's elected.

If Biden wins, they are just going to use that as an excuse to say that their strategy of moving right worked and they’ll want to come after the progressive wing.

And, of course, if Biden loses, it's our fault.

There’s no place in the American electoral system for a third party. The way to go would be a progressive version of the Tea Party. Primary safe incumbents in downballot offices until you have enough support to make demands. They don’t need to take over the party, they just need enough offices to deny the Democrats the ability to pass legislation if they all vote as a block. There’s a difference of 34 seats right now between Democrats and Republicans in Congress. If you had one in ten Democrat seats, you could pretty much clog the system, assuming Republicans continue to be openly and consistently obstructionist (which is never a bad bet, imo).

It’s basically the equivalent of starting a third party. The trick would be making sure that the block actually voted as a block, regardless of external pressure, but that would be true of a third party, as well, in a lot of ways.

capitalist realism. the way things are is the only way they can ever be, so we have to work within the system as it exists. the step to working from a third party is the same step to becoming a revolutionary.

look at this board. capitalist realism is eating y'all too.

Let me fucking tell you something, let me tell you something, I’ve been around since fucking nineteen eighty fucking nine, and you’re gonna give me one fucking minute?! You’ve gotta be fucking kidding me! You're fucking kidding me! What the fuck!? I’m not fucking Nancy Pelosi, you motherfuckers! You gotta be fucking joking, this is a fucking joke.
