Now we know what he slips in his coffee every morning... :maduro-coffee:
The evil empire should keep their filthy hands off Venezuela and a lot of the stuff we get from there is probably exaggerated or outright lies. But still, Maduro can be really hard to root for sometimes.
My barely informed take is that Chavez was good but Maduro is eh and can't really hold a candle to Chavez. Am I off by a lot?
Well he probably isn't as good a public speaker and Maduro is in a lot more difficult situation economically. Maduro and his wife were obviously close friends of Chavez and advised him.
He can talk about his pine needle juice as much as he likes as long as the oil stays nationalized
thinking about that time Reuters took part in an intelligence op to "weaken Russia"
It kinda bolsters the claims of the article when you completely ignore its content. But go off on whataboutism if deflection is the goal.
could tell since you took a while to post again after your last one got absolutely destroyed for carrying water for US empire
I'll ask a fourth time.
What’s your actual take on this Maduro Carvativir thing?
You literally never asked this. You posted some cynical old bullshit, got called out, and started attacking people.
Why should people waste time engaging when you clearly have no intention to?
Not gatekeeping, just wondering if you're bored or lonely or what. Like there are lib sites out there for you.
Are you an op
If you don't like what someone says, just scream wrecker or pig, it works every time.
Perhaps the better question is why information that challenges your mode of binary thinking feels like such an existential threat that you immediately default to a paranoid state of mind.
Not everything you don't like is an op.
love too post articles from two months ago with a title that implies they're new
My guess is that the article fails to mention that Venezuela is performing orders of magnitude better than the USA on a per capita basis when it comes to coronavirus. Maybe I WILL actually move to Venezuela...
weird that OP would repost a two-month old article shitting on a US state enemy, but title it like it's brand new
My guess is that the article fails to mention
Or you can read the article. And yeah, it doesn't mention that. But it does mention Venezuela is struggling to get doses of the vaccine, which might be the reason why Maduro is pulling this gambit.
The US and Big Pharma are actively killing people by politicizing their vaccine distribution model.
it does mention Venezuela is struggling to get doses of the vaccine,
Hmm, does it say why this is so?
(No, it does not.)
I've heard Mao would make up "traditional Chinese medicine" to cover for lack of healthcare throughout the country.
repost: this thread is unbelievably cringe. stop being denialists. its literally on his twitter. like holy shit guys
And Contrapoints. Sure, 90% of her takes are solid, but I'm gonna focus all my energy and vitriol on the other 10% and keep sassing, trolling, and bullying until people either hate her or come away hating all the other ideas I espouse by proxy.
I mean it would be really nice if she didn't do shit like say "Cancel culture bad cause I logged off twitter and then when I went on reddit they wanted to fire a pedo defender". The "10%" really fucking blows.
No. Explain for me in explicit detail why she has to live out a lifetime of the sins of her father.
She objectively fucking helped him hide his identity as a pedo rapist in order to get him work in her campaign, this isnt guilt by association its literally supporting a fucking pedo, fuck you for trying to tell me that I am somehow conjuring the fascist association of "trans women are pedos" when she literally fucking did this. Fuck you for trying to push any "mental anguish" she may feel over this onto me, literally just go fuck yourself and don't fucking talk to me again, dickhead.
A normal response to this headline: "lol"
A hexbear.net response to this headline: "This is an op, Venezuela's covid response is way better than US, reuters bad"
Maduro is a politician, and just like all the other politicians, will do dumb stuff from time to time. Just laugh at it.
i really hope it's something they either made up or horrifically took out of context.
Oh come on, be savvy enough to research something and think for yourself. Straight from the horse's mouth.
the horse's mouth
lol because a Mexican newspaper reports it in Spanish it's "from the horse's mouth"? do you just not know what that expression means
Yeah, it means a quote from Maduro himself hawking snake oil that's not Reuters so the simps here can take the information at face value instead of deflecting.
Is this your way of saying "Fake news"? You're a half dozen comments into this thread and seem to keep alluding to it.
Just come out and say it so the rest of us can nod and move on.
What's your actual take on this Maduro Carvativir thing?
why are you reposting an article from January, because you couldn't find anything more recent? and why did you use a misleading title?
It's the dunk tank, not news. I'm glad it took you 10 comments to finally read the article instead of gesticulating from the tortoise shell.
Grim take. The US and its sanctions are working to destroy the Venezuelan people, but stanning bad science costs lives too. Do better, please.
my take is that who gives a shit if Maduro's hawking thyme oil or whatever, still 10000% better than whatever slug person the US wants to put in charge of Venezuela
Venezuela’s National Academy of Medicine in a statement late on Monday said Carvativir “has therapeutic potential against coronavirus.”
“Nonetheless, it is prudent to wait for more data from the Carvativir tests ... to consider it a candidate for an anti-COVID-19 medication,” reads the statement.
Maduro was far too enthusiastic about an experimental treatment, so now we need to cancel him and PSUV (the only socialist organization of any significance in Venezuela) and join the right-wing opposition in amplifying attacks against a US regime change target.
Who fucking cares if Maduro goes on witch tiktok, realign your priorities, fed
