Idiot question but how do you nerds read pronoun priority here? I always assume the first one is the primary, though I sometimes swap back and forth between them. I have long discussed bear website goings-on with my wife enough that this is worth considering tbh.

I try to switch them up if someone has multiple, at least when I remember to.

My own odd pronoun question is actually regarding the comrade/them ones. I know some people definitely use them as a genuine way to show they/them but I feel like there's a lot of cis people on hexbear at wide who use it just for the comrade bit? So I always feel like it's a little riskier to use they/them for someone with it. Might just be me reading too much into it though.

That's how I read it too, especially when they is the secondary pronoun. When the secondary is a neo pronoun I assume that's actually what they want but don't want to ask people to use it.

This is the cynic in me, but I put the they first in my pronoun order to nudge folks outside of just the binary pronouns, as I find they will default to she if at all possible.

Yeah, I have mine set up so the first is the primary.

Tbh, I don't really expect them to be used, but I think showing them both mostly just shows I have a queer identity. I don't expect them to be used because I hardly ever see pronouns being used here because users rarely refer to each other.

Have you switched them around lately thonk-trans

Yeah the underline is pronouns don't get used that often, lol. It is good for showing queer identity as well =)

Here, I'd probably lean more towards both are good.

IRL, if I see something like he/they being used by someone who would otherwise be assumed to be "she", I assume they have "they" for the cissies. Likewise for "she/they" who would otherwise be assumed to be "he".

On twitch, I list they/all because I don't really care and because I had someone apologize once for using something other than they and I was originally torn between they and all to begin with (I don't think both was an option back then).

I like she’s but expect they’s idk. Generally, I try to alternate. Sometimes I end up tending to one pronoun in one context and another in a different.

Yep, I would just assume that the first is primary (unless a user explicitly stated otherwise). Honestly seeing some people's opinions in this thread may change how I would refer to someone, for example, alternating pronouns used rather than assuming that the first pronoun is always the preferred/primary pronoun.
