I thought it was just me. I know I have a pretty big target on my back for how much I post but I thought I had rubbed someone the wrong way. Whenever I get into it with someone I usually apologize and try to patch things up. But a day old account dogging me when I've had zero interaction with them is sus.

I'll never forget the story about that person in EVE Online that worked their way to the top of a gaming clan corporation thingy, fully gaming the other players until they worked their way into a trusted position then they robbed them blind. Not sure if that counts as trolling, but a hell of a lot of effort.

I know it's a super toxic place to go, but I browse r/collapse every so often. in my day to day life it feels like nobody cares enough to truly reckon with the complete systems collapse we're facing, and I would rather be around a bunch of doomsayers backed by evidence than idealists ignoring the literal end of the world. like I think r/collapse is too fatalist about it, and we should organise than give up, but I still think at least looking at the situation with gut wrenching fear is far more productive than ignoring it and hoping guys like Elon Musk just magic it away
