      100% she has a therapist

Edit: that’s a good thing, but certain therapists and clients can reinforce white PMC lib shit and is just about feeling good now working through actual psychology

You know it's that reason why I dabbled in introspective jungian psychology mixed with the Mahayana Doctrine of the Bodhisattva (this is way before lobster boy) as a means of working through my own internal problems instead of going to a shrink.

I'm fairly certain that doing that helped me quite a lot since it kinda coincides with my shift from being a proto-alt right hog to a lib, but I wouldn't say that it's a superior way that I'd suggest to others.

It's how it worked for me. What is the point of talking if some overpaid fuckin lib dipshit is just gonna go "lol dont be sad lmao"

If you don't like therapy that's fine for yourself, but telling others is a waste of time is damaging and stigmatizing. Don't be a downer on it when therapy helps many, many people.

You may believe that healthcare should be a human right in the richest country in the world, but have you considered the fact that my loser dad threw a tantrum in the kitchen one time?

How do you fuck up a pot roast? The recipe is to put it in a crock pot full of water and walk away. There are microwave meals that at least require you to open it up and stir it halfway through.

Would someone really do that? Just go on the internet and tell lies?

It would be pretty funny if people told the truth.

Leftist: "Bernie is proposing stuff that should already exist. Things like affordable housing, universal healthcare, and a living wage. Are you really against that stuff?

            Lib: "Yes."

Instead libs do a performative dance about the way Bernie talks and they tell pot roast stories. I don't even care if the stories are true. Who gives a fuck.

you can also cook it in a stock pot, and you cook it until it's soft. If it's overcooked, that's not really a problem unless you let it cook for an extra hour.

Half way through cooking tougher cuts of meat, the muscle fibers all tense up, and don't relax again til pretty much all the connective tissue is gelatinized. So...just let it keep cooking. It'll become soup, not a rock, unless you cook it without a lid and it dries out, I suppose.

I had a relative who didn't like Bernie yelling, so she just read about what he was saying. It's that easy, conservatives just wanted an excuse.

Nothing is more annoying than being policed for the way you talk, and not what you're saying. I yell and point my fingers, which might be a particular learned ethnic behavior I share with a certain socdem grandpa. I don't give a fuck about your wasp social mores and your whiny passive aggressiveness. I hate your terf island rich person manners!

I have known several women that specifically don't like men yelling for reasons I dont wanna know. That's fair. Valid even.

Basing your politics on it is a bad idea.

gets angry at progressive politics rather than the family unit as a concept.

Every time I hear Bernie Sanders say "Health Care is a human right" above a whisper, I am forced to relive the time my abusive parents sent me to the hospital.

I know everyone dunked on this when it happened (including me) but in retrospect it makes me kinda sad.

Like, I don't think she actually had any influence over how the election turned out. Her bizarre bad takes didn't hurt anyone, I don't think, except herself. I'd say she needs to go to therapy but she almost certainly is already. She's not poor, but probably not particularly rich either, and seems to have some genuine pain she's (failing to) deal with. Her anger just got redirected somewhere totally unproductive, aimed at the anonymous "Bernie bros."

I guess I can't really put it into words, but it just seems sad.

You might be right but after seeing so many bullshit articles and posts about how both B*rnie and Corbyn are traumatic I can't see this and think of it as anything other than pure cynicism.
