Do they just all fucking hate Greenland for some odd reason or is this just a map of countries americans have heard about before

It's common for Greenland data to be excluded from maps because it is actually part of Denmark.

French-Guiana apparently just got France's rating as far as I can tell so what the hell is going on

also a colonial possession and the home of France's space launch facilities, DGSE does a lot of skullduggery to keep it that way

Well yes but why did they get Frances rating and Greenland didn't get Denmarks is the question

Does YouGov just hate Greenland then? Or do the americans just happen to have the same opinion about France as about French-Guiana?

I think it's because French Guiana is considered a part of metropolitan France. They see as much of a part of France as Aquitaine or Brittany. But IIRC Greenland is more like a protectorate or a territory than actually a part of Denmark. Not saying it makes sense, just that's the distinction they may draw.

What is noticeable is that although there are many countries Democrats like much more than Republicans, there are just two that Republicans like much more than Democrats. These are Israel (which 69% of Republicans have a positive view of compared to 36% of Democrats) and the USA itself (95% vs 68%). The third largest difference is over Poland, which Republicans are just 6 points more likely to see favorably, at 50% vs 44%.

    lol
