Three colonial powers who fucked up indigenous people get traits like 'respect for different cultures'?!

Canada with fucking schools where indigenous kids were beaten for speaking their native language? Where they're still finding mass graves?

Jesus fucking Christ this makes me sick.

After the 80s revival and the 90s revival, we now have early 2000s nationalist hysteria revival!

    The colonizer 🇨🇦

    The colonizer 🇬🇧

    The toxic one 🇷🇺

Also I love that they used people of color for the first three countries like they're treated so well.

Meanwhile there are black people in Russia, Ukraine and other parts of Europe that everyone seems content to ignore.

    Obligatory :poland-cool:

They aren't ignored. They are very deliberately singled out at the border and prohibited from leaving.

My childhood friend was a black Russian and he was the coolest mfer I knew. Literally introduced me to the concept of socialism.

Literally one of the first things to make me go "you know, this socialism/communism thing doesn't sound that bad" in my childhood was learning how black Americans were choosing to visit the USSR for educational/career opportunities and even settling there since the early 30s. This while I was also being taught about the Jim Crow terror regime that the "Land of the Free" permitted.

I just like the theory that the English are known for their Friendliness and Agreeableness.

I'll give you Canada, undeserved and unfounded as their image may be, but in no fucking way are Brits thought of that positively, come the fuck on

As a Canadian, I am offended. We are terrible. :kkkanada:

Imagine the US, with a national sense of smugness over lacking its worst excesses, with a whole other set of excesses that just haven't gotten the same degree of exposure.

I did say Canada's image is completely unfounded in reality, but the "nice Canadian" trope has at least completely permeated the popular consciousness

Meanwhile, everyone thinks the English are shitheads

Yeah I was just thinking.. not only is it so blatant even the average person probably wouldn't fall for it, but it also has that uncanny faux-neoliberal-artstyle you only get from right-wingers trying to imitate woke infographics from memory.
