In response to Governor Greg Abbott and the Texas Attorney General Office's transphobic declarations, we have brought together all of these games in support of trans rights.

Trans children are extremely vulnerable, and the actions of the Texas government will put them and any supportive loved ones in danger. Providing funds to trans advocacy groups and support networks helps keep trans folx afloat in Texas.

Proceeds from this bundle will be split between two organizations: Transgender Education Network of Texas (TENT) and Organización Latina de Trans en Texas (OLTT). TENT supports gender diverse equality in Texas through educational efforts on an individual, community, corporate, and legislative level. They also provide emergency relief fund grants to trans people in need.

Organización Latina de Trans en Texas is a trans-centered, trans-run nonprofit that focuses on creating safe spaces for trans, gender non-conforming, and intersex Texans. They provide shelter space, both long and short term residences, gender and name change legal aid, and other community building services for trans people.

This bundle is also being offered in partnership with Hit Point Press: If you purchase this bundle, send a screencap of your receipt to support@hitpointpress.com to receive a game file from their library!

Solarian Games would also like to offer some of their Top Secret products for folx who purchase this bundle! Email EqualityTexas@solariangames.com a screenshot of your receipt to receive download keys.

Thanks to Jess and Mo of HuetopiaTV for helping organize this bundle

inventing a new political fringe position. French guy from Normandy who really really wants Normandy to leave France and rejoin England, and is extremely extremely passionate about this, like willing to die taking up arms for it

I already asked below, but wouldn't that have made England a part of Normandy if anything?

well, the thing is, that England is a lot lot richer and larger, so the state basically immediately centralised around England and Normandy became far far less important. sorta like when the Mongols or Manchus took China, like the larger state basically just envelopes the smaller invader but the ruling class changes is really all that happened. like William the Conqueror never called himself King of Normandy, he was King of England and Duke of Normandy, and his heirs cared far more about who got England and not who got Normandy

Wouldn't that count as England having been part of Normandy not the other way around? It's not called the Anglo-Saxon conquest

A few years ago I thought of something similar where the Bloc Quebecois went ultra-reactionary and wanted to reestablish the Bourbon Empire. They'd find some old German noble who claimed the Bourbon lineage and put him up in Quebec. Then they would invade France.

Gonna dip into anti white racism for a moment but a lot of white people honestly strike me as incredibly lazy and arrogant

I work with a guy who is supposed to be helping me (and he's new) and he will randomly try to tell me how to do shit, disappear for hours and then just not fucking do anything but still act like he is on top of his shit to management

super fucking frustrating and despite my bosses being non white they still assume he is the one doing all the work even though he's just been jacking off all day

edit: and like as a kid I used to find it weird that all the English settlers kept dying en masse when they first hit the Americas but I kinda get it now, imagine being bred to think you're #1 one on the planet and then dying cuz you have no real skills

hm... I think this ends up getting into a complicated and larger discussion, but I feel like systemic racism and similar forces have distorted the way we look at norms. Like, most people could stand to work less. We could and should have shorter work weeks. But minorities have unfair pressure to work extra hard, above and beyond what is already excessive and unnecessary.

I get this from white men a ton. I'm white but am a woman, so they behave this way towards me pretty often. Wonder how much of it's due to operating on a perceived social hierarchy and/or having coasted on privilege despite mediocrity. Guess I've gotten it from older white women too, though definitely not as often

shoutout to the time that i watched parasite and joker with the saturation all the way down becuse i didn't realise i had a filter on my vlc player

ngl it kinda added to joker because the only color that really stood out was the red of his joker outfit, so becoming the joker was literally bringing color to his world

Saw The Batman. It was really well edited and the cinematography was excellent. Twilight guy's acting was surprisingly good.

But good lord was it bad. It was like if the NY Post wrote a movie.

I'm going to spoil it now. It's not worth watching, so I'm not going to tag it for spoilers, but uhh

    CW: misogyny

At one point, batman just watches catwoman change for like 5 minutes and the audience is made to watch through the binoculars in first person, adopting batman's predatory gaze. The villain is a serial killer who kills... corrupt politicians. At one point, a black bloc is seen protesting, holding signs supporting the Riddler. Batman keeps restraining catwoman, who clearly hates him, then at one point she tells him about her trauma, he patronizes her, and then they kiss. He stops her from killing someone who killed her girlfriend because 'killing him would make you as bad as him (a logic which, for whatever reason, doesn't apply to putting kidnappers in jail).' Oh, and there's two politicians, both of whom are tough on crime, but one of whom is anti-corruption and uses the phrase "the people" a lot. She's a good guy. There are two black people in all of NYC Gotham City one of whom is a socialist coded but tough on crime politician. Also, at one point batman terrorizes some people for... spraypainting a bank. At one point Batman kills like 20 truckers in a car chase, but that's never revisited so I guess it's fine?

They did some cool things with noir lighting though.

does the batman franchise ever actually acknowledge the contrast between batman saying he never kills people and the fact that he has no problem blowing up henchmen or shattering their orbital bones into thousands of pieces, leaving them permanently disfigured? i feel like the only time i've ever seen him challenged on his no-killing policy has been when he really really wants to kill a villain but eventually doesn't

In the worldview that created the last 4 batman movies, only the rich get humanity. Henchmen are collateral. Batman's 'no killing' policy isn't an ethical position, it's a business courtesy among the rich.

Twilight guy’s acting was surprisingly good.

He's a good actor. Check out the movie he was in called The Rover, movie is like Mad Max but like actually happening and how things will probably pan out with climate change, disturbing watch so be warned.
