        Tbh I see this brought up a lot, but it seems like everyone in every conflict does it? You want your side to be riled up at the possible threat, but you can't admit strength in the other side.

            I mean even our characterizations of Nazis themselves fit the bill - a rising, prominent, dangerous threat around the world (which is true), but also incompetent, weak oafs who get their lights punched out on the regular, destroy themselves with infighting, and have incredibly bad opsec.
