Why does this exist at all? Who asked for this? Who thought about this enough to ask for this? Aren't the bazinga brains supposed to believe that the savior of humanity works 18 hours a day or something? :agony-minion:

Lol this guy doesn’t do shit

Imagine claiming you run a f500 company, a multibillion dollar company (spacex), the boring company (lmao), activist investing (Twitter) and still have time for video games

Get the fuck out of here

Ready Player One was trash but I liked that scene where the corpo antagonist tries to appeal to the MC using cynical, calculated appeals to "nerd culture" whilst having his own PR team prepare the lines.

does he think only smart people can play int builds.

I think he's trying to brag that he's smart because his character in a videogame has high inteligence stats

Tbh the possibility that he’s just been fucking around playing video games and not focusing on running his 69 billion different companies this entire time is the only explanation I can think of as to why said companies haven’t all filed for bankruptcy

Kinda glad I just got moonveil so I can pretend that elon and I don't have the exact same build.

I hate living in a world where I have just spent several minutes of my time on this mortal coil reading about the gaming habits of a meme oligarch.

Haven't played elden ring yet, but melee sorcery was my favourite type of build in dark souls. Like, you can r1 combo into casting soul greatsword with blueflame and the right set up of armour + rings, and knowing when to buff to give you the edge in duels adds an entire new layer to PvP tactics.

I run an int build and I got walled by Rennala. I sort of appreciated it, too - I was getting way too reliant on Moonveil and it forced me to pick up another weapon. Now I'm using the poison Serpentbone katana and the double slash is admittedly more fun.

Cheese sorcery is more rock sling. Shit works against even anti mage bosses.

Yeah, I don't understand the Comet Azur thing, I was cheesing stuff with rock sling if I wanted to beat stuff. Staggers bosses like nobodies business.

Then I decided to simply dedicate myself to becoming as orb and shooting moons as it is oddly enjoyable.

I’ve respecced to Int several times because I really like having frostbite, and idk what the hell I was doing wrong but I’ve never had success with it. Like at the same level I can have like 8 casts of lightning spear which kills an enemy in 2 hits, or I can switch to int and get 12 casts of glint pebble that does no damage, or 2-4 casts of rock sling or another strong spell which take 4 hits to kill.

Frostbite’s cool, but I won’t give up lightning spear for it.

You've got to swap some potions to FP and make use of some of the other spells. Adula's Moonblade hits hard and applies frostbite. Rykard's Rancor is good against large and slow enemies or groups. Comet Azur can melt most bosses. Cannon of Haima for AOE. Greatblade Phalanx for stagger. Carrier Piercer for knockdowns and to punish rolls. Carian Slicer does enormous damge and comes out very fast. Night Comet to negate input dodging AI. Rock Sling for stagger and physical damage. Gravity Pull spells to pull flying enemies down to earth. Invisible weapon for PvP shenanigans.

There are a lot of options for powerful Int weapons to pair with magic, as well as a lot of physik and talisman combos to try out.

Get a load of this wimp using a shield and heavy armor meanwhile I'm running around shirtless with a cape and a curved greatsword in each hand

    spoiler

It's okay, shields are cool and heavy armor and int builds and rapiers too but not Elon Musk, he isn't cool no matter what build he uses

I still haven't left Limgrave and Caelid on my first playthrough yet but I'm about to, I've mostly just been gravitating towards the biggest weapon I have and 2-handing it. Went with the Giant Club for a good while, then switched to the Greatsword once I got strength to 31. Unfortunately that means I can no longer have light equip load unless I put more points into endurance. I definitely enjoy it, it's fun to consistently stagger bosses.

Liurnia, directly north of Limgrave, is waaaay easier than Caelid, I didn’t start being able to handle Caelid well until I hit like level 100

And I’m with you on the staggering, every once in a while I find a boss that’s hard to stagger and I just keep jump heavy attacking while becoming increasingly stressed

Oh damn really? I'm like still well below level 50 and I'm honestly doing pretty ok. I've had my fair share of deaths but the runes are flowing in like nobody's business. I already owned Margit so I can definitely head up there but I've just been putting it off.

Can definitely be hard fighting bosses you can't stagger though. I beat Putrid Avatar the other day, and they had a lot of stall moves that force you to back off, so it was hard to keep them from recovering.
