Found on tumblr, best note was "also not allowed: crucifixes and sunlight."
Someone said that Japan was the white people of Asia as there food has very little to no spices compared to the mainland. And I guess that stuck with me. :posadist-nuke:
:japan-cool: is basically the :england-cool: of Asia, both island nations that became imperial powers, samurai and knights are basically the same thing, both have a weird royal family and nobility, both eat a lot of fish, oh and the nonce culture
Recently learned that the Japanese don't really use cilantro/coriander ever. Blew my mind because it's such a staple for basically every non-western cuisine (China, latin america, south asia, arabic, thai etc)
That just means that the Japanese understand the fundamental truth that cilantro isn't food, it's a torture implement.
Admittedly, I've never eaten soap, but I don't think soap is supposed to taste rancid?

Her majesty can only be truly defeated by the power of true love (also not allowed in the palace).
and sunlight
They actually used to tax windows in the UK: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Window_tax
And I mean, look at this. I'm no Van Helsing but it does look like someone that'd utter something like "I do not drink.... wine".
You can still see evidence of this in some older parts of Irish cities. Window holes are covered up with brick, despite the building being functional, because they didn't want to get taxed for glass and it was easier to just leave the bricks there

my first thought was: "but she sometimes comes close to crucifixes, and when she is (rarely) seen in public, it's usually in the sunlight!"
my second thought was: "If I was a powerful immortal vampiric monarch, I would use my influence and vampiric powers to plant false information about the weaknesses of vampires into folklore. This would give me and my fellow vampires an excellent cover by enabling me to come into contact with some of these supposed 'weaknesses' in order to prove I'm not a vampire." :scared:when she is (rarely) seen in public, it’s usually in the sunlight!
Why do you think she wears that huge hat?
I wanna say Ventrue but given that family
