Hopefully this works out the way the China-lead Iran-Saudi Arabia talks did - all China needs to do is be a fair arbiter and they'll have all the credibility they could possibly ask for.

China has a lot of credibility in the Palestinian conflict, stretching back decades. With the founder of the PLFP saying “China is our best friend” and Yassir Arafat saying , “China was the biggest influence in supporting and strengthening our revolution.”
