Ty for the response! Yeah, I don’t plan to become a stoner any time soon and I don’t even want to touch alcohol. Opinion on somewhat frequent microdosing (for ADHD)?

I'm not sure about ADHD, I use psychedelics for "depression" and PTSD. I'm personally partial to macro dosing. Like instead of taking a little bit everyday, you take enough to get real high however often you see fit. For instance, the ket doses I get are strong enough for me to have out of body experiences and I only get them like once a month.

E: it's much harder to dose psilocybin reliably unless you're very familiar with mushrooms and the source you have. Personally, I have a source for really strong shrooms and I only like to take about 1-2 grams, that's my sweet spot.

Microdosing 0.1g or less (depending on potency), every other day is a good regimen for an adult.

As far as your brain still developing, I can't see it being worse than taking ADHD medication daily or even an antidepressant everyday.

But microdosing you should have breaks, otherwise there's a possibility of heart issues from chronic stimulation of a receptor in the heart. Every other day was what was used in animal studies and it showed a lot of promise for depression and anxiety symptoms. Without any damage.

Even though it's not really being looked at for ADHD, I do believe it can help with that. It certainly helps me to slow down and be more mindful.

I looked it up, and it seems there was some study where a couple years like half of people switched from stimulants. Somewhat promising. Also, I’ve seen the recommendation once every three days.
