This logic doesn't work on hogs. They can't see people as people, only as clout or money they can jump in like slop

What is even the point of defending the honor of some dipshit who was fighting to keep slavery who's been dead for 150 years? What does this possibly gain you other people dunking on your ass.

Lol and this is on the same website that got mad when someone posted a picture of nurses after 12 hour shifts in Wuhan. They must be bad because they're a member of the bad race of people (sorry sorry sorry, we hate their govt is what I meant), but god forbid we judge these confederate assholes by their voluntary political affiliations, it's simply not possible that every dickhead that picked up a gun with the intention of murdering to preserve slavery is a bad person.

I would even go so far as to say that yeah, I'm sure there were some guys who joined out of a sense of duty to "defend their home", some who were coerced, and some who simply had nowhere else to go. And even if, in a vaccum, these subjective motivations can be understandable and relatable, all that shit goes out the window when they materially supported a genocidal slave empire.

Motherfucker was in South Carolina. Not even Alabama or some deep south state where he couldn't just hop the boarder. He absolutely had a choice. It wasn't uncommon for families in the boarder states to be split as siblings chose sides.

All slave owners and their families and adjacent relatives should have been killed. Basically a slave owner purge.

That post would have gotten 2x the amount of Karma if that confederate solider also gave union soldiers a piece of candy too.

If Americans were aware, we would probably be angry at what our troops do.
