If fascism was a car
Yeah, these are certainly better than the near-standarized crossover SUV style vehical that every American auto company produces now. Ugly giant blobs.
Black F-150 with tinted windows and a lift kit. Punisher back the blue sticker on the back window. Only needs truck features to haul a six figure boat from the 'burbs to a nearby lake roughly four times a year.
The cab is bigger than the bed, and it doesn't really have the towing capacity for the boat it's being used to haul, so it's squatted all to fuck whenever it's hooked up.
No 90’s Japanese Aesthetic
Not nimble, looks like it’s only designed to go in a straight line.
Hellcats are cool in a straight line. Anything else (literally just normal driving) is like driving a shitty floaty boat.
Don't get me wrong, hellcats are cool. The engine sounds awaken something primal in me. But I've always been more of a nimble japanese sports car guy so it's just not a car for me.
I think that's sorta their charm; they appeal to NON car folks. You're right, its cool looking and fast. But i would own like 50 other 30 year old japanese shitboxes over one of these any day of the week
But i would own like 50 other 30 year old japanese shitboxes over one of these any day of the week
This is the way of the left-wing car guy
if i could drive one car for ever and not worry about it getting stolen, it would be a mid 90's Honda Integra. I loooove seeing 200k+ on an odometer
If fascism was a car it'd be a lifted ford raptor with a punisher blue lives flag sticker on the back window.
almost, it would be a Shelby raptor and it would have all that and have zero dirt ever touch it, even though we live right next to some dunes please for the love of god chud neighbors use your $120k truck as a truck you literally live on sand dunes
Cars are bad, but if an enthusiast subculture wants to use them for a hobby and drive/race them in designated places I don't have a big problem with it. Mostly I hate that we've built our entire world around requiring universal private car ownership.
Imagine being on a leftist website and being surprised at the take that cars are bad.
How about electric cars
Also bad. Even a hypothetical electric car that doesn't have the negative externalities of lithium battery manufacturing. Carbon emissions from gasoline are bad, but not even the worst thing about car culture.
I'm sure you have very handsome balls comrade. I hope you're proud of them.
Do you typically haul fridges in a car? My car is much too small for that.
cars are manufactured by an industry that has put untold amounts of money into ensuring that our transportation infrastructure is individualized to the point that you need a car to get around
cars bad, but could be ok under socialism
cars could be good if they were manufactured and used solely as the most practical mode of transportation in certain circumstances i.e. rural communities.
cars right now are manufactured as goods for capitalist profit for an industry that has worked to systematically destroy any alternative to the personal automobile.
Cars are not neutral, nor do they really make things more accessible, all things considered. Needing a car is like the most regressive tax you can imagine, costing you upwards of $300 a month and requiring poor people to spend more, even in absolute terms, on gas and repairs.
Please read The Social Ideology of the Motorcar if you haven't already.
@ChapoBapo and @all_or_nothing too.
Cars are cool as a hobby/sport thing. Cars are bad as a mode of transportation. Electric cars are bad because lithium batteries are bad.
Trains can get to just about anywhere in North America. A bus can go just about anywhere a car can go. There's not some major technological restriction on how wide-spread mass-transit can be. It's just probably not going to be profitable, especially not for car companies.
Dodge makes such bad cars when it comes to being well rounded. "Just stick a giant engine in this bloated boat full of shitty plastic interiors, the rubes will just yell 'HEMI' and we'll sell a quarter million of them."
Ford at least tried to make the Mustang be able to turn, the Corvette is an absolute banger and has been for 20 years, and Dodge is just like "haha hellcat go BRRRR"
Hellcats are glorious. My friend had one for a bit and it was stupidly fun.
Dodge Viper is the car that can actually turn, though it had an 8.3 litre V10 and was discontinued
That thing was the biggest peice of tree magnet shit, good riddance. Also, ive never really heard anyone give that thing praise, there is a first for everything!
Conratulations Mopar, you made a $80k Foxbody Mustang. Best thing they ever did was take the engine out and put it in a motorcycle
I dunno it can definitely handle a track and take corners quickly with all the changes they made with the final model. Definitely very far from a "fauxbody Mustang" by the end.

I always figured fascism would be a Bently or some other ostentatious piece of crap often decked out for some dipshit rich prick.
There needs to be a Punisher skull logo sticker somewhere on there. Back window? Giant one on the hood?
watch my old Subaru shit all over Fascism

It's either this or an MRAP considering they're used by the military, cops, and chuds
Had a previous gen, lime green challenger rev super hard at me heading home from work on my bike. It startled me and I can only imagine if I didn't have earbuds, my eardrums would've rattled and could've fallen off. I was so angry, it took all my energy NOT to smash his taillights. Ugly ass car.
It's a Dodge Challenger, a car model that troops, chuds, and nazis like that Charlottesville car murderer love
