Is there some correlation I'm not familiar with? I haven't paid attention to any of my dentists' politics, I just want them to prevent tooth decay, but is that a thing? It's not like cops or ICE where you HAVE to be an evil bastard to join or remain a dentist.

Its not really that all dentists are CHUDs, but a lot of dentists own their own practice, and thus their class interest is more aligned with the petty bourgeosis. Also, a lot of them seem to believe very strongly in the "selfmade man" bullshit, which tends to align them more with the CHUD parts.
Dentists, more so than doctors, are open about the fact that they went into it for the money.

I'm pretty sure my dentist is licensed, but it's the first time one of them has lowered the seat damn-near into their crotch.
They're glorified teeth carpenters, all they can do is drill out your teeth fill them up with plastics or precious metals. On top of it all they nag on you every-time you visit, and charge obscene rates for even the most minor operation. And for some reason most countries make it a privatised service not covered by healthcare costs even though theres a definite link between dental health and mental health.

My dentist is a really faithful Jewish guy who's super honest, donates a lot of his time to doing dental work for those who can't afford it, and bends over backwards making sure paying him isn't an unreasonable burden.

I had emergency dental surgery in Australia while visiting family. (East Gippsland, maybe some Aussie comrades can explain it) My dentist was nice until during one of our sessions he asked about what a fuck up Obama was.
