I haven't noticed it but I'm sure there are differences between Maagi ( huge brand in India) and Heinz. But in India we legit put ketchup on pizza and in instant noodles, it goes too far.
Alternate synthesis: mix the ketchup and mayo together and dip your fries in it.

I bought a container of Japanese mayo from an asian grocery. It's really tasty, and also because the container is very flexible, there's no air touching anything, and it has lasted a disturbingly long time.
I have a little thing that I sing to myself sometimes whenever I make a sandwich that goes to the tune of "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" that goes like:

when i was abroad i found out about "catsup" and i enjoyed it much more than the corn syrup with a dash of tomato we call ketchup.
i don't like knocking things like this that people really like, but i've always felt like ketchup is a cheat code to get kids to eat food and reinforces bad eating habits in the long run. Everything in moderation though! Ketchup isn't bad just cause it's not healthy, it's bad when people wont eat anything without and contributing to various health issues in the long run. Not idea if this is a ice cold take, i'd assume so??
