I think some Maoism is less terrorism centered but in general it feels extremely weird, I havent read much "Maoist" literature(Mao is not Maoism ofc) but the vibes I have gotten are really strange, there are Maoists in Scandinavia arguing for a Peoples Protracted War, a strategy that explicitly is built on a large rural population that is separated from urban population, which absolutely does not exist in Scandinavia.

There was a famous poll in which a shockingly large percentage of Germans said they would shelter a terrorist on the run from the police.
