Starting off October, this Fridays movie, as decided by c/bloomer, will be
"Burn after reading"(2008) - A delightful movie about the CIA being large adult bumblesons
"Super Mario Brothers"(1993) - Which is Required watching for continued participation in Hexbear
And maybe "Super Mario Bros. Anime Movie Restored · English subbed · 『スーパーマリオブラザーズ ピーチ姫救出大作戦!" (19??) - if y'all feel like it.
After watching this sacred kino, put on your lib pants and get ready to :vote: , cause we have 4 more Fridays in October we can stream movies on. Post your favorite publicly posted or pirately hosted movie for Cytube Fridays. Top upbeared movies get a slot on a Friday, and maybe a pair with a double feature if they fit together.
ALSO- It's Halloween month right? So I figure it's there's gonna be lots of spooky movie suggestions, so we're taking all the losing horror movie suggestions, FUCKING LOSERS, and going to run as many as we can on Halloween.
Post the link if you can, makes things easier. Movies usually play 08:00am & 8:00pm Central Time (16:00 & 04:00 MSK) Cytube is a finicky beast and usually accepts Youtube, Vimeo, Daily Motion, GoogleDrive(requires plug-ins, ez pz)and occasionally others if it feels charitable that day. Here’s the manual.
Shout out to the Cytube Team, our patron demons, and VIEWERS LIKE YOU.
This isn't a megathread, but you're getting pinged anyways. Not sorry.

i watched it with a group of 10-ish friends way before things went to shit, and it felt like a great movie to see with other people. it's tacky, it's cheesy, it's funny, it's surreal, it has costumes and bad bad stereotypes
My roommate was just saying we need to watch Super Mario Brothers, I’ve never done one of these movie nights but I’ll see what I can do 👍
We should watch john carpenter's the Thing 1986, its a good horror movie
Ok new suggestion: Green Room
Good for halloween or no, just excellent.
(i doubt this will win, either because too many or too few ppl have seen it before, but pls ping me @Zoift and i'll upload it somewhere if the unimaginable happens)
edit: i asked GPT-3 to describe the plot of move in two sentences, it's pretty spot on: "A band enters a cabin in the deep woods outside of Portland. A gas is released in the cabin, knocking out the occupants. It turns out the band is being held captive by a group of white supremacists that are gradually killed off by an Asian performance artist."

Based, we're doing this one way or another.
the mario movie does sound like a good shitpost movie to watch
Martin Scorsese’s The King of Comedy (1982), the original Jokerification movie.

“Burn after reading”(2008) - A delightful movie about the CIA being large adult bumblesons
oh hell yeah baby
Not spooky or relevant butninfound out Killpoint is on YouTube. Peak 70s sleaze in 1984 featuring Leo Fong and Cameron Mitchell. Best of the Worst did it, but it's worth watching anyway

Separate entry post: Gerald's Game.
Fantastic film and one of my all-time favorites.
John Carptenter's Dark Star (1974), his strange low-budget sci-fi debut that was one of the chief influences on Alien. Full movie is right here:

I'd love to do the first 4 Scary Movies. Tho if I had a gun to my head and could only pick one: The original.
