I think incompetence is the most likely explanation, but it would be extremely based if they were actually double agents this whole time
If it's double agents it means we're back to early 1900s levels of union basedness. Only a matter of time until there's armed confrontations.

Why do you think Hollywood is making movies glorifying Pinkerton agents?
Some wobbly somewhere: "Don't you get sick of being nice? Don't you just wanna go ape shit?"

Make America Great Again.
The resurgence of support for unions these past few months is pretty fucking unprecedented (especially in this century). This will all lead to a huge movement in support for actual socialism, not just demsoc shit (hopefully). This is a pivotal moment for socialist orgs to grow in numbers and reach.
This also shows just how important agitation is, in regards to r/antiwork. For the past year that the sub was steadily growing in popularity, the majority of posts were either photos of shitty things a person's boss texted them or posted on some board in the lunch room. Because of this, the sub gained more and more participants, expanding class consciousness and exploding in subscribers. Now we see this consciousness in mass action. Even if a lot of the text chains and shit on the sub were fake, it greatly expanded class consciousness and agitated workers incredibly successfully.
I think the next logical step is to spread MLM theory and use this as a platform to build a Marxist-Leninist base. Of course, worker movement towards the left under capitalism tends to be met with fascism, so we also need to prepared for that (in fact, I wonder if Amazon forcing their workers into the factory during the tornado might be a response to the Kellogg stuff, like a show of strength, combined with the usual exploitation and disregard of workers' lives).

why do you think so?
Hopefully it's a natural progression. Especially since capitalism tends to heighten exploitation as a result of worker gains, only leading to more resistance and more people swearing to dismantle it. That's not to say that we can just sit back and not agitate, this is an important time to spread theory and practical applications of said theory. Who knows, we'll see.
If I win the lottery I want to be a scab who just comes in and fucks shit up on purpose as my full time job.
When you skin your knee and it scabs over, but then any bending of the joint causes tension that reopens the wound.
"See, unions don't get you what you want, they just end up getting you unemployed." - some twitter globe emoji loser, probably
It's not about the money. It's about power and control. They'll burn their own enterprises down before they relinquish any power.
Introducing Kellogg's Fire Roasted Frosted Flakes.
They're ennnnnnnnnnnnn fuego.
More likely incompetence.
You can't just rehire a bunch of people to make treats.
the maoist uprising against the landlords was the largest and most comprehensive proletarian revolution in history, and led to almost totally-equal redistribution of land among the peasantry
You gotta get a copypasta for unions and union busting , I already have this one memorized (it's very handy, thank you for your service)
If this was an accident and any of them die from it, then my advice to them is not to scab on the angels
holy shit look at that vehicle collision two stories down, they had to cut the door off the minivan

Is there anything more American than being forced to buy something expensive, wasteful, and dangerous just to live a normal life?
Land of the free, baby!
It's cool that people survive accidents like these. 50 years ago it would be 100% fatalities
fr cars have gotten impossibly safe now
trains better tho :train-shining:
Not even that long. When I started working in the medical field we saw the changes around the turn of thr xentury or thr '10 where accidents we were shure would have killed people had walk off injuries. Maybe it was the crumple zone things that made them look worse than they were. I dunno. But it is a welcome change to see.
Someday they might br as safe as trolly cars
