Starts at 19s. Very incoherent, but the most likely meaning of what he is trying to say is a huge lie. The US alone invaded at least 15 countries since WW2.

Does Biden even remember that he personally ended one of the invasions of a country by a nuclear power?

:france-cool: in Algeria, Chad, DRC, really all over Africa like the US is all over Latin America.

:south-africa-cool: in Angola and Mozambique (backed by the US).

Israel in the 6 days war and on-going occupation of course too. Israel started the 6 days war almost immediately after they built their first nukes.

“I did not anticipate that there would be such a stalwart effort to make sure that the most important thing was that President Biden didn’t get anything done.”

Was he sleepwalking through Obama's presidency?

They don’t have “colonies” but they sure do have a lot of countries underneath their thumb via coup governments and international neoliberalism

Plenty of American interests and puppet leaders abroad who could topple without direct US support.

Look at what happened in Haiti just recently, for instance. Consider what happens in Yemen or Taiwan or Ethiopia if the US runs out of manpower to spread globally.

Damn right. We need to get through WWIII before Cochrane can invent the warp drive and the Vulcans can make first contact.

Wording like that makes it sound like he believes the US will get involved if Russia goes in, maybe he just doesn't want to outright say it.

Hard to tell with Biden and his word salads of course, but potentially scary shit. Can't imagine things actually going nuclear in any case unless the US actually pushes into Russia and backs them into a corner.

But who knows. Could totally see nothing happening, just as nothing has been happening the whole time the press has been hyping this up.

The CIA have been a bunch of busy beavers. And the US did intervene during the Russian invasion of Georgia, as noted in the most recent episodes of Lions Lead By Donkeys. Mostly intelligence support, but they did intercede.

I don't doubt the Americans hope to do a similar intervention on the side of Ukraine. But I also think they're wary of how badly things could turn if they back another losing horse.
