  • megas are typically posted between 10pm and 4am UTC. there's no hard rule about it, but you're welcome to post during that window (you don't need to wait for midnight your local time).
  • mega topics should be unironic -- there's plenty of irony to go around in the mega comments and elsewhere on the site

      I think a few emotes to make it feel more cute/friendly is a good idea, but I'd still only say include like 3 or maybe a max of 5, I personally like how succinct it looks now

            do you think maybe smaller emojis like 💜❤️ sorts of things would help it "pop" without feeling too noisy? also, obviously going to defer to broader consensus/sentiment. but I am interested in your feedback!

          I think having them categorized is convenient, yes. But it doesn’t feel natural. And the shifting of text doesn’t look right. idk maybe I’m just being a prick

            Realizing I might have to formalize making schedule threads now. I'll get something up on c/movies later tonight. But for now:

            As far as Friday Movies go, right now the Nominations for May are still on-going. https://hexbear.net/post/190794
            So we won't have a schedule until Thursday unfortunately

            Saturday has OG Gundam playing in 5 episode blocks for the next 3 weeks. Next is 26-30.

            Sunday Slop Nights don't have anything planned ATM that I can remember, but it's prone to last-minute changes, and anything I'm personally playing there usually isn't worth advertising.

                I'm thinking keeping a permanent schedule thread at the top of c/movies. I used to post the vote results after the nomination threads, but because of the timing it usually ended up buried in the next nomination thread and it was just cluttered in retrospect. Also I feel the need to do compulsive bits, which probably isn't helping cohesiveness. :thinky-felix:

                Also I'm thinking comm movie nights were clunky to handle sourcing for short-notice, but they also really helped getting new suggestions in. Mulling how to make something like that work again.
