I don't get it she picked a hot gamer boyfriend, what were the other two wishes?

I too wish that people in public places would mask. Good wish, dude, you deserve those video games

It's one that's worth the price for sure, it's also not full of DRM so you could technically 🏴‍☠️it if you want to

It's not really about worth. It's just expensive for my budget. I could yarg it but I also don't want to dedicate 100gb for it to sit (I'm in no rush to play it despite having beat the two previous)

I got FTL for $2.50 and finally pulled the trigger on Dwarf Fortress even though the discount wasn't great, I know the devs are trying to afford cancer treatment in Hellworld.

Yeah my only regret is not trying it years ago, just installed the Multiverse mod after completing a couple runs and it's wild how much content is added.

If you like FTL, I recommend Cobalt Core. It's a 10/10 game, worth buying even at full price.

If I used my immunity-from-contracting-and-transmitting diseases wish on myself and my partner, I would mask anyways because explaining that I don't need to wear a mask because a supernatural force granted me 3 wishes is harder than just showing people that hot gamers should mask too

I wish the sales were as awesome as they were a decade ago.

That said, I’m thinking about picking up Balatro, but I feel no urgency to care since it’s only 10% off. Like, that $1.50 difference isn’t all that compelling.

Picked up Celeste and Prison Architect bc they cost next to nothing

Got Disco Elysium for my partner

And most importantly I got Workers and Resources Soviet Republic which is so fucking addictive and I can’t pull myself away from it

I bought deep rock galactic and have lost an average of three hours of sleep per night. I also bought class of '09 and I'm excited to try that.

        tw everything

I got my brother arrested for pedophilia, every man had an incredible amount of red flags, got suspended for drugs, tried to be nice and ended up attempting suicide and getting a depressing monologue about medication and psychiatric practices.

Edit: I have now gotten a job modeling for a Nazi

I know that period of our lives can be edgy but I wonder if it was as edgy as the game portrays it

cw similar content to the game

My initial thought was no, but after going through all the endings, I realized almost all of them happened or came close to happening. We almost had a shooting or two, the basketball coach tried to cover up his star player making revenge porn, one teacher said the N word repeatedly, a few kids dropped out due to addiction, one got sent to boarding school, a few kids got bullied out, and a large portion of the student body attempted suicide at one point or another. This game just lets you be the central victim of all of those events with rapid pacing.

So after all that would you say the game was an experience? Something you'd recommend or give it a 10 foot stick treatment?

The content is fine, the only thing about it I didn't like is that there is so much resuse that the first eight endings are fun, but you need to spam click and follow a guide for the last eight. It's only fun for 2 or 3 hours and the last hour is a bit of a slog.

I've played it before, it's super edgy but in such an over the top way that it's funny. Only "ironic" visual novel I've ever enjoyed. CW for basically everything though.
I think whether it lands depends on whether you were in an American high school in the late 00s/early 10s, there are some deep cuts. There's a moment where they go to FYE and my brain just melted for a minute

There was one line that plays on my head daily

            mean violence posting

"Oh yeah? Why don't I slit your throat so I can watch the honor roll out?"

            "Are you threatening me??"

"No, I'm hitting on you; flash me a titty, bitch"

              my favorite is:

"... one... fis huh, tuwoah fis..huh"

              "Are you serious?"

"Come on, you picked a hard one on purpose!"

"It's a Doctor Seuss book you dipshit!"

Very happy for the guy in the picture. Both that he can afford a 4090 and that his fuses can apparently handle a 4090.

OpenMW might be a better pick, lots of stuff you usually mod into BethMW is built into OpenMW, like shadows, UI improvements, optimization, etc. It also runs much smoother.

shrug-outta-hecks I think PC gamers have gotten used to bigger cards and there is a lot of variance between the 'most compact' 4090 & the largest, which would be the ROG Strix shown in the photo I posted above.

            Show

But I am still rocking my 1060 6GB in 2024 so don't take anything I say about the current state of graphics cards as the word of god lol
