What the fuck would be wrong with you that you'd want to die at work

She has like 3 functioning brain cells left, so this is probably just some power hungry staffers that drag her body around all day.

Why can't these ghouls just retire and enjoy their millions doing whatever the fuck old boomers and silent gens do with their millions? Is this shit really that addictive?

I was wondering if that's why Ginsburg stayed on. She survived how many bouts of cancer? Probably thanks to the superior healthcare Justices get. If she quit, maybe she'd have died a decade earlier.

This is absolutely true not just if politicians but of basically any rich person. Working when you could just retire is a sure sign if of a deep psychopathy.

I just think it'd be hilarious for her to spend her last barely-coherent moments on earth stumbling through an awful campaign telling people they cant have anything good and lose then croak.

how can she be shocked if she's entirely unaware of what's happening around her? how can you shock that which receives no input?

There's a reason Bernie came from Burlington Vermont and not SF or LA. The capitalists take elections in powerful states extremely seriously. The amount of money and advertising is insane in CA elections. I think that most people literally take the spam letters and advertisements at face value and make their decisions based on that. They don't make any effort to look at the issues from different perspectives, or cross reference or whatever. I find it somewhat frustrating

I love that the biggest news about her is that she’s confused and angry all the time and chuck schumer told her to resign and here she is, filing for re-election.

My running theory that i mentioned elsewhere is that she isn't even aware she's running again. Its just some hanger on staffer registering her to run again because they think its the best careerist move for them.

Hilariously, in her last election, the CA Dems endorsed her challenger and all the chud parts of the state voted for him (de Leon) as well. The Dem parts of the state all voted for that corpse, against the wishes of the state party.

So really, if you think about it, she's an insurgent candidate challenging the party machine. Can I get a "Yaas kween?"

What's insane is how hard she is breaking from Schumer on this, like he does not want her to run again. If she doesn't get talked out of it, it's possible the rest of the senate dems try and primary her, which could lead to a 3 way primary where someone further left could take it fingers crossed.

She was already primaried last time, and the California Democratic party endorsed her challenger. California's system makes it so that there are two Dems on the ballot in the general election

Love how Americans are always screaming about democracy and then just filling in a name they recognize once every 2 lol. Democracy is just the right to stand in line and fill out a scantron with the same names on it and nothing more.

Yeah she was carried purely by the dead weight of the years in the senate and name recognition she had. Hopefully if it happens again, she'll actually lose. At least this time she's so incoherent even compared to her last election.
