Make sure to remind the liberals in your life that 'pro-union' biden isn't doing anything to support these workers in their important struggle

So does the "pro-union" idea actually come from somewhere?

I know the "pro-train" thing is mostly bullshit and it's Biden, so I'm assuming they literally just made that up too.

I think he got the union endorsements from all the unions that typically support establishment dems.

Which got transformed from "unions support Biden" into "Biden supports unions."

Which seems to be the same logic behind "Hillary must support my interests, because I keep chanting "I'm with Her.""

He did some shit with AFL-CIO I think? He wasn't like part of a union or anything. Just beaurocratic/political bullshit.

people were calling him pro-union before that and he had nothing to do with it anyways

Biden isn't, but oddly enough, Marco Rubio is. He even did an op-ed for USA Today in support of unionization efforts, and I'm wondering exactly what he's up to with this. He obviously doesn't give a shit about workers.

If it gets too far congress/senate will pass a law that prohibits economically important companies from unionising. I just know it. And locally Amazon can just shut shit down. That’s what huffpost did recently.

Even it that would be the case, it is still worth pursuing unionization. Capitalists aren't just going to hand things over to us, they aren't going to play "fair", we will have to force their hand in to giving us what we're owed.

They did it to the air traffic controllers and a few other "critical" professions in the eighties, they could probably do it to all of the essential workers right now if they wanted to. Call it something especially dystopian like the "American Working Heroes Act".

i definitely have heard about the air traffic controllers thing, where they just basically fired thousands of people, but that was reagan. everyone knew he didn't give a fuck. if biden tried to pull some shit like that he'd be massacred now.

it only feels like that cause you think the consent being manufactured is somehow genuine, not your fault, they do a pretty good job with the propaganda. so many people are pissed off and can't afford to fucking live. there's gasoline everywhere and a spark is bound to happen.

It's technically illegal, and technically illegal things only apply when the entire country is watching, ready to freak the fuck out if Amazon breaks the law. If nobody was paying attention they would have shut down the whole warehouse without a second thought.

They still might do it though lmao

Shutting down a warehouse is a lot more expensive than shutting down a news branch

If you check Biden's service reccords he was not pro union, he was clearly pro confederacy
