BUT YOU DON'T HAVE THE CHANCE TO BUY IT NOW, UNDER CAPITALISM EITHER, :agony-yehaw:
That's what freedom is! Instead of knowing they never could have saved their son, they instead get to live with the guilt of wondering for the rest of their lives if they could have saved their son if they took up a second full time job, or sold some blood plasma, or signed up for some pharmaceutical testing. If we coddle them and provide medicine for free, then who's to say they'd ever learn their lesson? Now they'll do a better job raising the next kid.
Freedom is a fully stocked grocery store with starving children outside who have the opportunity to access the material wealth of society of they choose to have enough money
Psychological abuse? In my economic system? Where have I seen this before...
Sure my son is dead, but it's the thought that counts :)
I mean you could play the lottery, you have a chance
socialism is when I put a blockade on you so you can't import medicine
How can you even produce medicine without profit motive? It isn't possible.
Cuba has a lung cancer vaccine that's not available in the US. Of course it's free.
Imagine seeing the original post and your first thought is "Heh, if this fucking loser would just be LOGICAL and RATIONAL like me, they'd be fine with being bankrupted by medical bills"
I'd click but I definitely can't pay for the chemotherapy I would need afterwards
Under golcialism, no medicine because it's not fair to save some people from dying so everyone is dead
Dabbing on families being financially ruined by overpriced medicine to own the commies 😎
Correct, under the brutal regime of Fidel Tse-Stalin medicine was outright banned. When people have illness, or get hurt, they just pray to the Gods Thomas Vladimir Marx and Leon Minh Engels for cures.
They're saying that since capitalism is when good thing and socialism is when bad thing, you would be a fool to be a socialist.
Probably something like only under capitalism could the innovation for this medicine have happened, while under communism there would be no incentive to invent.
