:liberalism:
This made me look up how much health insurance costs in the USA, and holy shit you guys are getting scammed. These aren't even zero-deductible.
but it can also be declaring an entire major hospital chain in your area suddenly out-of-network
And even if the hospitals are in network, some random doctor x assigned to you might not be.
My wife and I get to pay $1000/mo so that if something happens to one of us we only have to pay $14000 instead of being bankrupted. Fortunately with healthcare prices here, "something" could be as little as a broken bone or an animal bite, let alone critical illness that requires hospitalization. (Good thing there's nothing like that going around, right?)
Now keep in mind that there's a chance you might get expensive treatment that isn't "in network" that you have to pay extra for.
Writing down "that's a big deal", so that in the Chinese Liberation of America I remember to say it right before hanging each war criminal politician.
Chinese Conquest of America
You mean Chinese Liberation of America?
In any case :inshallah-script:
Plot twist: it's just a list of all the top posters on your local city subreddit.

A: doubt america is going to collapse as soon or as dramatically as anyone here wants to think.
Said everybody in history, right before a collapse.
These things aren't exactly predictable, if they were they wouldn't happen at all.
This is the dumbest argument I've witnessed thus far on this website. Congratulations to the both of you.
"Thats a Big Deal" you dirty peasent scum , you would not know you below us creatures ... but its a big deal for you poors , we imaging ...
Happy know ?
Inflation is going to eat that $50 almost instantly too
This is around ~$10 saving per person on average, health premium cost increases will eat those savings in a few months or even less.
So what you're saying is that the Trump administration has still given people more money

$600 is 15 days worth of rent for a one bedroom apartment.
Then they would have to increase the available fund for subsidies, something they don't want to do because "deficits".
That scene from Disney's Jack and the Beanstalk where they cut the transparent slices of bread.
Combine this with the .11 cents the average American saved on their 4th of July barbecue and you start getting somewhere!
Walt Disney may have been a capitalist piece of shit but some of the workers whose labor he stole were pretty based.
Pell Grant recipients who start a business that operates for three years in disadvantaged communities. :jokermala:
$600 a year through nebulous promises of reduced costs
WOW THATS A BIG DEAL
More good would come from dying on the barricades than this bullshit. :rosa-shining:
Just like in the UK, its sort of a race to the bottom.
Do I want to vote for Beat-off MyPork, the Skateboarding Failson or Greg "$4000 kwh" Abbott? Like, what sane person votes for the Republican in Florida right now? What sane person votes for the Democrats in Arizona?
Then I look over in Ohio, where Nina Turner's campaign gets nuked from orbit by a series of million-dollar ad buys. Or NYC, whose mayoral race is just a competition for most obnoxious social media campaign. Or how the CIA got a completely uncontested couple billion dollars for Munchhausen's Syndrome Relief inside 24 hours of media bullshitting. And I gotta say. I think the Democrats will do just fine.
Jfc I thought this was one of those ridiculous daily online nostalgia tweets until I saw the date
