Ukraine losing the war is going to be a huge surprise to many people after so many made-up numbers and articles talking about how "Russia is just hours from running out of supplies due to logistical issues!",or non-sense about how they're all "demoralized conscripts who don't know what they're doing".
This war has had the dumbest propaganda ever. Have you noticed how some of the POWs have been dressed up as if they're homeless (as in half of their uniform is the right size, the other half is ill-fitting, wearing a WW2-era helmet, etc)? Brilliant on Ukraine's part I suppose.
A lot of the POW's just look like that.
DPR/LPR fighters are using a mix of old soviet equipment and modern russian uniforms. The "WW2" helmet is just an SSh68.
Here is a poll showing that only 26 percent of Canadians polled think Russia is going to 'win' the war https://abacusdata.ca/canadians-support-ukraine/ ctrl-f 'MOST STILL OPTIMISTIC ABOUT OUTCOME' to see the relevant section.
Although it should be noted that this poll seems to define Russian victory as having occupied all of Ukraine, which of course was never the aims of Russia.
