wait oops someone already did that one whooooooooops
it only attracted reddit because a user here screenshotted it for reddit
My absolute favourite was the angry lemmygrad user. I cannot believe, for all the dumb things I say on here, that this is the biggest post I have made.
I don't see a cringe take. They're right, Skyrim is shit compared to games like Morrowind and Fallout:NV
How does that have so many comments? I though people agreed Skyrim was garbage ages ago?!
It's just butthurt crying because someone pointed out the game they've sunk 2000 hours into sucks ass.
If I could do it again I would honestly, but Idk if I can replicate that.
Tyty i needed some reading material for when km taking my next shit
thank fuck im not online enough to have seen this, and i will continue to stay in ignorance tyvm
diablo 2 lord of destruction was the last great Blizzard product. Morrowind was the last great Bethesda game.
Nintendo is overrated as hell (Coming from someone who actually likes various nintendo games)
Cinematic Third-person action games like The Last of Us / Uncharted probably make better movies or shows than games.
Disco Elysium is good, though, I will give Hexbear that.
Guess those would be my "controversial" gamer takes
My controversial gamer take is that video games should be banned for a whole generation so we can raise a generation of non Gamers
I'd like to imagine a bizarre alternate universe where tabletop games are an industry on the scale of the film industry lmao
A complete shutdown of gamers til we can figure out what's going on
These are all true, although for the Blizzard one kinda harsh on Warcraft 3. But generally yea!
I think Warcraft 3 is a good RTS im not some grognard to not see that. The difference is that Starcraft Broodwar is an alltime top 3 game in its own gerne.
diablo 2 lord of destruction was the last great Blizzard product.
I said TFT was the last good Blizzard game to not attract heat from the Blizzardbros, but Blizzard 100% peaked with BW/LOD and it has been downhill since then.
Blizzard at their peak weren't just good; they were LeBron good. I think both Starcraft+Brood War and Diablo 2+LoD are top 3 games in their respective genres. I know a lot of people think Blizzard sucks now, but golden age Blizzard was really cooking.
Witcher 3 is very poor mechanically, but one of its mods turns combat into something much more complex.
Summon them? I became one because of what the irresponsible Redditmancers on the site did.
I need help holy shit. I woke up to 20 more replies, Skyrim is fuckin stupid.
I saw your hot take about Castlevania SOTN (one of my favorite games of all time) and it blew my face off, waaaaaay hotter take than saying Skyrim is bad.
I couldn't get it across as effectively, I guess. I think the fact this post was off the cuff and about something else, just got at people. I'm sure I could draw tons of friendly fire by not liking Sonic Adventure 2 as well, but there's a point past which people stop taking you seriously and just assume you are trolling, even though I am dead serious. I could probably not replicate this =)
I think the core issue with Symphony et al (aside from platforming as traversal, yknow) is that 2D environments have trouble being memorable. Exploration and even backtracking is fun in System Shock or Resident Evil 1 because snooping around gives you environmental storytelling, plus you learn the layout and it's satisfying to run the Spencer mansion with no map. Symphony is all just flat grey walls.
Valid criticism. And Sonic Adventure 2 was for sure a downgrade.
