    thesis: California is worst

    antithesis: Texas is worst

synthesis: Yankkkees are the worst and those are the two largest subdivisions of them

After 40+ years in California, specifically around the "nice" part of it that tech bazingas flocked to and gentrified since the 90s, I can say...

If they're not the most annoying, they are definitely up there with smug insufferable emptiness that is stuffed with treats and fad-chasing. Ever meet a woman whose personality was "yoga, wine, and tormenting retail/restaurant workers?" Ever meet a man whose personality was "bibeo bame and P R E S T I G E T V?"

Strong contenders for annoying people contests.

The ribbing is well received... and maybe well deserved.

It may take years for all of that second-hand wine country snobbery and liberal pretentiousness to fully wash out. sweat

I've never thought that of your posts, imo I think you just have an energy and intensity that might rub some people the wrong way sometimes, but that's okay because it's just you being you and not vibing with their vibes, it's not an annoying thing or something to overly think over and feel bad about. Can't please everyone, so whatever, haters

again, i think you're a valuable addition to the site and I'm glad you're back postin', although I hope that isn't at the expense of your touch-grassy intentions when you engaged in your recent Long Log-Off

Sometimes it can be, I admit! Fortunately, this is an easygoing time at the moment (which is why I decided to log in again recently), but I better not get too addicted to posting. It may take hold of me, and I would resent its absence.

I take it you've never been to Los Angeles. LA should take the blame for introducing the "yoga wine women" to your old area.

Also, by "LA" I mean Century City, Westwood, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Venice, Malibu, & the SFV, aka "the porn capitol of the world", where I grew up. Long time residents call it "Hell-A" for a reason.

I mean as insufferable as the tech valley is, you can't match the shittiness and pure demonic ego of a city that has it's own song, written in the 80s, no less: https://inv.tux.pizza/watch?v=KcADqxnQA_4

EDIT: I wanted to add that LA is the image most people have in mind when they talk about CA. Sorry. kitty-birthday-sad

The only time I actually felt judged for being from bum fuck nowhere was when talking to a Californian. They reek of holier than thou

sounds like they're salty from trying to drink all that salt water and oily wastewater from hidden & abandoned oil derricks.

the pictures of LA before they started hiding them are wild AF. check out Venice Beach, 1931.

I met a lot of people from a lotta places in the US. I met a lot of people from Texas. maybe a half dozen of them weren't in dire need of an ass kicking.

I'm from Ohio, we literally gave you JD Vance, what more do you want from us to prove that we are the actual worst? couch-fucking competitions at the state fair? MORE sanctimonious lectures? piles of corncobs and cholesterol?

maybe, but definitely the most self-centered you'll find anywhere

people in CA literally act as if they're the only person who exists in the whole world, all the time, by default

California has the most annoying yuppies, but not the most annoying overall.

Some of the most annoying people in the world are Californians, but in my own experience they're statistical outliers and should not be counted.

Otherwise "most annoying people" is such a broad, non-specific category that you could make a case for basically any group of 2 or more people being the most annoying. I'm personally annoyed by Seppophilic Norwegians and by Seppos in Norway, and I doubt anybody else is gonna mention those types of people.
