And so continues the precedent of far-right weirdos showing off their weird eating habits/ pathetic microwave food cuisine

I'm weirdly proud of the food posting I see on this site. It makes me want to try baking bread myself too.

This is like the only site where I can see a post of someones amazing home cooking advice right next to someone post about pig poop balls. Quite the mood whiplash.

For the British guy, PB&J or whatever his name is I kind of get it because he's British and shredded cheddar cheese on salmon probably does pass for fine dining there, but this is a whole other level.

I unironically see vision of boomers waxing lyrical about stadium hot dogs and griping about how modern stadiums sell 'unamerican' foods like idk avocado sandwich or soy latte, while complaining how great the american pastime of baseball used to be before those latino thugs who don't play the game 'the right way' and cannot lay down a sacrifice bunt or something.

Comments are just boomer ramblings or saying that men are better chefs than women

I've known a few that could, yes. They were not fun to date.

One was genuinely upset when I did a grilled salmon with asparagus, because it wasn't what she was used to.

I'm convinced that the fixation on avoiding carbs mostly comes from people being too childish to develop the taste for whole grains. They're delicious and nutty once you get used to it, and you can supplement 100% whole grain products for almost anything that has refined grains. Brown rice/quinoa is the obvious supplement for white rice, Dave's/Ezekiel Bread are so much better than anything else, whole grain pastas aren't as good but doable if you're trying to keep a diet. The real benefit is that they're so much more filling and satisfying on top of being more nutritionally dense.

That moron is failing at heating hot dogs. The idiot is boiling them like they were potatoes instead of heating them in water below boiling temperature. They're going to burst.

Or just microwave them. Quicker, less effort, and they're factory-compressed sticks of leftover hog guts so the preparation method doesn't really matter.

You can still make them more tasty tho. I could write a book on making cheap ass hog gut sticks taste less like depression and imminent suicide.

Holy fuck, this is too on the nose. He has to be doing this as some sort of incomprehensible own.

I’m not sure what I’m seeing here. He’s boiling hot dogs? Don’t you grill or sauté them?

Grilling introduces black marks onto the hot dog, whereas boiling leaves it a homogenous pink.

for lunch i sauted one with a poblano and some onions. It is just as easy as boiling them and actually tastes good.

Not manly enough. Or maybe grilling is too centrist for this fascist

Yeah, me too. One of my roommates years ago thought that's how you make soup. They put a whole carrot, potato, and onion in a pot of water, and then was like "Why isn't it turning into soup?"

Not only does it make more room for fixins (the actual parts that don’t taste like shit) it also emasculates the meal by destroying the integrity of the phallic symbol.

    $2000 range
    $1000 countertop
1 year taken off the remaining time to climate catastrophe in natural gas emissions

All so this fash can boil some hotdogs that taste the same when they're microwaved
