Yeah I mean they're right, it is digital fentanyl and it should be severely regulated, but only as much as every Skinner box that Silicon Valley churns out.

Letting tech companies do whatever is in their power to weaponize billions of dollars in psychology research to lodge hooks in our brains is very, very bad. The focus specifically on TikTok is ridiculous "Chyna bad" nonsense, but yeah TikTok is fucked let's be honest

I mean, they are saying "fentanyl" in a very pointed way because these are the same people peddling conspiracies about how fent addiction is Chyna waging an Opium War on the anglos.

But yes, all these platforms are sick skinner boxes that should have their "habit forming" tools regulated out of existence.

      Chyna bad

I mean, its hard to look back at her work and call her a good wrestler considering how high the bar has been raised by the women wrestlers of today.

It's not the "Digital fentanyl" part they hate. It's the "from China" part.

TikTok isn’t even Chinese really so look at this for what it is, Anti-China posturing to build sentiment for future conflict.

TikTok is is only 20% owned by the founder who is a private individual and not the Chinese government, and overwhelmingly 60% of the company is owned by western finance groups, ie: Carlyle Group, General Atlantic, and Susquehanna International Group, etc

3 of the 5 board of Directors for BiteDance are American.

      TikTok isn’t even Chinese really

Its a product that competes with traditional American social media giants, so its (A) definitely from China and (B) definitely a powerful opioid and (C) directly responsible for... fuck, idk, Hamas? I think TikTok created Hamas.

3 of the 5 board of Directors for BiteDance are American.

Americans WITH CHINESE SURNAMES!!! We all know what that means.

Oracle Corporation, a CIA cutout, handles hosting Tiktok and moderation of what content north American users see... which means the Communist Party of China has literally taken control of the CIA!

It's not China's fault America gutted its public education system to create generations of credulous rubes who believe whatever they see on social media.

Tech companies responsible for almost all of the most commonly used programs, including the operating systems of nearly every personal computer on the planet, originating in the US and regularly cooperating with the US government: Capitalist market freedom at work!

Chinese company puts out entertainment app which is slightly more toxic and attention-grabbing than the ones that came out before it: This is a never-before seen threat to American security.

Just have your phone speakers keep repeating the word "fentanyl" out loud and cops will be unable to come within 50 feet of you.

I think they're trying to say it's "addicting" and "bad for you" and "China bad" while simultaneously pushing their new fentanyl boogieman. Absolute nonsense if you think about it for more than a second, but the people they're lying to won't do that.
