Yeah I agree, it definitely felt surreal to me as well several times. Like I literally could not believe what I was reading about the complete BS stories just gobbled up by people, the absolute hate for regular Russians (not even against Putin/military/politicians but like genuinely wishing suffering and death to regular russian civilians), completely unsourced or poorly sourced "stories" being blasted by every major outlet and then you find out "oh it all came from just some rumour on twitter".
Wtf is taking away mcdonalds, banning paralympic athletes and a breed of cat with 'russian' in its name going to do to better the situation?
