fill a spray bottle with 8⋮1 hydrogen peroxide and vinegar then add as much salt as you can get to dissove solution. spray mixture onto cybertruck for quick effect.
I don't remember my chemistry super well, but that sounds corrosive as hell! I think I've got a spare spray bottle around here somewhere...
I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:
I would also suggest mentos and diet coke for some quick whoopsiedoopsie damage
Hey, the F-35’s problem is that it’s insanely overpriced and tries to be everything to everyone and thus fails.
The Cybertruck is not trying to be anything other than a truck that looks cool. It fails at that. It’s not even insanely overpriced for the luxury pickup truck world (which is honestly the dumbest market segment)
The point I was getting at was that just like the F35, you can't use it in a thunderstorm, or any rainy weather for that matter.
We need to stop having vehicles designed by people who live in medium temperature desert areas.
Watch these have optional upgrades like "paint" and "finished edges on doors" soon
Sure that's why they have special chemical pre-processing and special primers, then weather coating for car bodies
https://global.toyota/en/company/plant-tours/painting/#sec02
For paint you need to use a brake fluid spray rather than the above mentioned peroxide, vinegar and salt solution.
Your cybertruck will be in perfect condition and never have an accident as long as you keep it in your garage forever
Make sure you store your cybertruck in the Tesla-provided $100,000 CybervacuumTM Container
cybervacuum proceeds to implode because Mr. Musk cheaped out on material again.
I'm thinking of a post from yesterday on how these vehicles were not designed for the freezing temperatures of Chicago, only for California climates. I guess they weren't made for Florida either.
didnt california just have a bunch of rain?
but hey, the car would work wonderfully on mars, which has basically no oxygen or water. the huge child flattening machine wont even be as heavy on mars as it is here.
musk is playing the long game.
I love the cybertruck so much because of the inevitable damage it will do to Musk's reputation. Maybe my boss will stop trying to tell me to go read his book.
Hey uh, quick question, here in Florida there’s a lot of water in the air.
It would be entertaining to see one of these rusted hulks being driven back to a gated community in Orlando after a long day at the office. Half of it would probably fall off and become road debris.
Tesla drivers will be endangering other drivers in two ways now
Hell, I want to see one after a single east coast Canadian winter
Humidity, snow, and road salt will eat these things for breakfast
I was just thinking when they bring them to Houston they’re gonna be madmaxified inside of a month lmao
Imagine what one of these will look like after a winter in the Midwest or Northeast. Going to turn into a Flintstones mobile very quickly.
Stainless steel will surely love all of the soaking wet salt and sand that is constantly being blasted at your vehicle from all directions
I love that this $100,000 "luxury" vehicle had about as much care put into it as a $15 K-Pop album
ShowHey that's the kpop group that ran a sex trafficking ring! They'd get along great with musk I'm sure
Wait, only Seungri was implicated in that, right? The Burning Sun scandal happened after I stopped actively following K-Pop so I'm a little sketchy on the details.
He's the one who owned the club and the only one from Big Bang that got arrested but given how many other boy band members were implicated and how long the operation was going, I'm sure there were many, many more celebrities involved.
The Cybertruck really is the perfect vehicle for the modern American truck enthusiast. Can't really tow, not a lot of bed space, huge and unwieldy, gets hung up on off-road obstacles, prone to lots of problems - but it looks good in your driveway and in the Starbucks drive through (as long as you keep it dry).
It's like being a lawn guy where it is pretty clearly bad, utterly impractical and takes constant upkeep but instead of just walking away they get super proud and weird about it
Iirc the delorean had issues with the frames rusting, not the stainless panels.
you're right. even a 40 year old cocaine car got the stainless skin right
owners
Owners? Serious question - what does that mean? The public can't buy the trucks because they aren't for sale. Did Elon set up some kind of test thing where the "owners" are just borrowing/renting/whatever from Tesla? If so - how many people are doing that?

Edit
I'm a broken record but holy mother of fuck is google shit. It lead me astray. Again. The following page is Tesla hype bullshit but at least it gave me a rough number. And I don't want to google more...
Since barely 500 Cybertrucks have been delivered...
I'll leave this here too. Haaahahhahha...
Cybertruck Corrosion (per Owner Manual) | Tesla Cybertruck Forum - News, Discussions, Community
The Cybertruck’s exterior is susceptible to corrosion, as acknowledged in the manual. Once the oxide barrier is compromised, corrosion initiates. The manual advises prompt removal of corrosive substances, emphasizing not to wait until the Cybertruck is scheduled for a full wash.
What fucking rubes.
The amount of funny posts on there are great
https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/it-gets-hot-inside-cybertruck-cabin.12258/
Finally we are having nice sunny days in NorCal and noticed CT gets hot very quickly under the sun due to the large windshield and its angle. I plan to tint very upper part of windshield. any other solution you can think of ? do not say just turn on A/C to max.
Minor, but maybe having an 8 foot long windscreen could be an issue
These bozos are gonna remove the side mirrors from it lmao?
Just...so much hilarity, from dumb car bro shit like removing mirrors to shit build quality issues
gets hot very quickly
This truck definitely has been designed around the comfort of the driver and passengers.
These bozos are gonna remove the side mirrors from it lmao?
In that thread I clicked a random avatar to see what comments the guy made. I assume they're nearly all (if not all) guys. There's no simp like an Elon Simp.
Irvine, CA Cybertruck now open to the public | Tesla Cybertruck Forum - News, Discussions, Community
...The front seats are incredibly comfortable; the two rear window seats are pretty comfortable. I wouldn't look forward to an all-day road trip in them.
Translating that phrasing into reality - I bet he actually thinks the front seats are serviceable and the rear seats are uncomfortable.
Glancing thru that thread reminded me, this nightmare hasn't been certified or even crash tested by the NHTSA
It also weighs 6,600 pounds, where a comparable truck like the F150 weighs around 4,500-5,500 depending on options
So...
this nightmare hasn't been certified or even crash tested by the NHTSA
Serious question - how the fuck can that happen? Does Elon simply bribe people at the NHTSA, etc? I just don't get it.
Apparently it...doesn't have to?
A spokesperson for the NHTSA said it doesn't plan to test the Cybertruck next year for its five-star safety ratings program. That's because it doesn't have to. It can choose which cars, if any, it wants to crash-test.
Most of the vehicles without [NHTSA] ratings are low-volume models, sports cars, luxury vehicles, or large vans. The expense is too great for NHTSA and the IIHS to test all vehicles, so choices are made based on car sales volume and testing budgets.
Oh boy. So I would expect it will eventually? Maybe?
low-volume models
How convenient for companies that do that volume. The customer is at an auto show and he says "I dunno about this convertible. No roll bars. No safety cage..." and the lying grifter-salesman says "Oh, it's safe. It's very, very safe. I own one." And he'd never even get in one because he knows it's a deathtrap and it's never been tested.
So I would expect it will eventually? Maybe?
My hunch is that it won't be tested until there's a (horrible) death and the lack of testing becomes a scandal. Then the media will breathlessly say to it's audience "Most of the vehicles without NHTSA ratings are low-volume models. But we were surprised to learn that some other vehicles aren't tested either. Who knew?" You! You're supposed to know! You're supposed to learn about this sort of shit and report on it before deaths and maiming. It's your fucking job. Stop following Trump around 24/7 and covering Biden's brainfarts and do your actual fucking jobs!
I like the guy who tinted his windshield from top to bottom and was like "looks great." Then he posts a picture that looks like someone made a PS1 game out of a 3 year old's drawing of a car.
The Cybertruck’s exterior is susceptible to corrosion,
If only we still had access to the lost technology of automotive paint.
"What, people love Balenciaga's $1500 poop shoes! Why shouldn't it work for trucks?"
What the actual fuck? Regardless of all other points of idiocy or scam, those do not even really look like worn.
