Obamacare was literally a Republican idea, and how uniquely American: threatening everyone with the threat of the law to buy luxury goods they can’t afford.

I have called it Romneycare for years; fuck this advertising-ass country trying to repackage its shit to feed the peons. there are a couple things in the aca that are useful, like the pre-existing conditions shit, but none of the 'useful' things in the aca would even be relevant in a singlepayer system

Also I need dental work done, but I'm maxed out this year so I'll have to fork up $400.

And you never hear anything else from Democrats on advancing to the next step. You never hear how you are PENALIZED -as in no subsidy- if you try to compete with your employer's healthcare and all the loops or roadblocks they have. So they make it deliberate uncompetitive in their marketplace.
Oh your healthcare plan is to improve pricing of ONE drug under a mesh of outadated and narrow means testing in which you aren't allowed to have more than 2 weeks pay in total houshold assets and savings. Whooooopie freaking dooo!
