Yea and he got off because his buddy flipped on him and they successfully used the argument "you can't believe anything that guy says he's a convicted pedophile."

that said burgerstan gets exactly the kind of representation it deserves... not what it needs (rather the opposite) but what it deserves, not justifying it but Trump's bringing all the true blue-blooded Real Americans™ into office, bald eagles and the founding fathers cry

what do you mean nothing happened?

pedos took over the government and made him Attorney General so they can all get away with being pedos.

thats what happened to him for being a pedo.

They were going to bring charges but the primary witness was the victim, who is or was a sex worker. Since the defense would just say, "You can't trust a prostitute over a US representative.", they decided not to proceed.

Perhaps I missed some details, but I believe the argument was a bit different (but also probably included what you said). They wanted to use the other convicted pedophile, his buddy, but they feared a jury wouldn't trust a convicted pedophile. I think these were both effectively speculation though since the feds never formally acknowledged much of it. We saw the evidence and we knew they were pursuing charges... and then it went poof with little reason why

Edit: apparently the Boebert thing is a meme.

unless/until you get crushed under their boots.

gives me a funny meme idea: a bunch of people in a concentration camp, sitting on the floor around a TV eating popcorn while watching other prisoners in other concentration camps getting mass executed and being like "woah this trump presidency sure is entertaining" maybe as the guards behind them load bullets into their rifles.

          the future is grand! doomer

It's fine, if the nominations are bad the Senate can always exercise restraint - snnnkk - and - hehe - refuse - bwahaha - refuse to confirm the unsuitable nominees.

At least the confirmation hearings promise to be entertaining as hell.

Yeah, that's what makes it funny - all the rhetoric about the "strong Republican party" that we apparently need and it's going to result in a bunch of people who ostensibly ought to know better giving carte blanche to a pile of idiots.
