The police station in Minneapolis getting torched. Never thought I'd see something like that in my lifetime.

Made me so hopeful for real revolution. I know it was just a small thing in the grand scheme of things but... It showed me that, yes, this shit IS possible.

watching the woke stream and constantly refreshing the megathread (then getting up in the morning and tuning in to see closeups of the damage from the night before) was so fun

It was so fun to watch that shit on cnn. Then one day the Atlanta protesters smashed cnn's windows. I remember vividly a dope ass antifa kid with a skate board just bashing as the cnn broadcasters were shitting and crying. Then the next day they stopped showing protest feeds and their entire broadcast became zoom calls with black liberals.

The dems picked the absolute weakest thing to impeach him on. Children dying in cages at the hands of the federal government? Not nearly as important to Nancy Pelosi as Hunter Biden getting picked on.

It's not really impeachable to go after someone for just executing on existing federal policy. Don't forget the Democrats were complicit in that one too.

They should've impeached over something financial corruption related.

I haven't seen the impeachment mentioned at all since the primary. I still can't believe the Dems wasted the one power they had and all their political captial on defending crackhead Hunter Biden.

At the end of the day it doesn't matter. The only analysis I've read that makes sense is that Republicans and Dems represent loose coalitions of capitalists. Democrats and "moderate republicans" represent the global finance wing of capital, promoting "free trade" agreements. Republicans represent regional capitalists, like logging an coal, which have generally been hurt by globalization of capital.

So when Trump when after Hunter Biden, it was a genuine attack against his enemies. I think the Democrats swung back so hard on that because they don't see nepotism between government and business as a problem. Trump going after Biden represented an attack on their whole way of life, crossing a line that rich people aren't supposed to. So I think on some levels, it was a genuine move by Democrats that they calculated wouldn't be too offensive to potential voters.

I got a big kick out of Musk claiming he was gonna build a submarine to help trapped Thai kids, doing nothing, getting called out by that dude, and then immediately just calling him a pedophile. What the fuck was that?

The riots / protests showed that people have the energy, they just need to not be co-opted by liberals which is easier said than done. But it really feels like Bernie and Corbyn's greatest contributions to the left was ending capitalist realism. While their electoral projects failed, they introduced a whole generation that a whole different world is possible. Now I hope they can retire in peace and watch us make that better world.

I'm pretty sure this isn't real. Around the time this happened I think it came out that the horse actually belonged to the rider. Massive props for the morale boosting though. Counts as praxis in my book.

Man, there’s so many moments. The sinking of the armada of beautiful boaters, the absolute dud when the mueller report was handed down, the histrionics at the Hillary “victory” party, chapo’s election night 2018 coverage :partiotism: (the last good content they produced), the John brown posting, the quarantine, the ban, the hunter Biden foot job, Scarramucci, Avenatti, and I know it makes me a lib, but that moment for a day after Nevada when it looked like BERNIE COULD STILL WIN, that was a good time.

Soo many to choose, including Trump trying to kill his own supporters recently, but I'm going to have to go for Trump bringing a McDonald's and Wendy's feast for some visitors. I mean just look at this pic, the energy it exudes is just incredible. The pile of big Mac's on a gold platter, Trump's pose and expression, just everything. It just sums up the decline perfectly imo

Gamers: Free HK Boycott Blizzard Also Gamers: I wanna fuck my Mei waifu pillow.

I think the funniest thing was a) making Mei the HK symbol when she is not canonically from the region b) the actress supported the government action against the CCP.

I didn't know anything about the Mei stuff. That's fucking hilarious.

Found a reddit thread about it just now and the hoops they were jumping through to convince themselves that she was saying things against her will is actually fucking bonkers.

            Le epic redditor's thought process:

She's a moron. And if she isn't than she's a shill. And if she's not a shill she's brainwashed. And if she's not brainwashed the government is threatening to execute her entire family and everyone who ever laid their eyes on them.
