The police station in Minneapolis getting torched. Never thought I'd see something like that in my lifetime.
Made me so hopeful for real revolution. I know it was just a small thing in the grand scheme of things but... It showed me that, yes, this shit IS possible.
Remember the oinkers squealing in terror as they fled the building out the back lmao
That was so good. they didn't even open the gate, they just slammed through!
watching the woke stream and constantly refreshing the megathread (then getting up in the morning and tuning in to see closeups of the damage from the night before) was so fun
It was so fun to watch that shit on cnn. Then one day the Atlanta protesters smashed cnn's windows. I remember vividly a dope ass antifa kid with a skate board just bashing as the cnn broadcasters were shitting and crying. Then the next day they stopped showing protest feeds and their entire broadcast became zoom calls with black liberals.
June really felt like beginning of something. Hopefully we can build off of it.
I stayed awake watching the riot and news coming out of minneapolis, it was amazing.
The best event was those Silvercorp chuds getting owned by Venezuelan fisherman with machetes
The silvercorp pissbaby lying face down in his own piss is just an amazing sight
The best part is they were sentenced to 20 years in Venezuelan prison :agony-yehaw:
Odds on them making it out alive? They're not good folks. :sicko-yes:
I fucking loved it. It was like they thought they could pull off a Cuban-style Revolution where a small group raids arms caches and recruits locals on the way to the Capitol. They are really that delusional to think that the average people in Venezuela hate the government and want to revolt.
The celebration is also pretty dope: https://twitter.com/redfishstream/status/1260925330174341120?lang=en
Or this one from Guaido's first attempt.

Imagine seeing this and still thinking the people are just itching to rise up against Maduro.
My name is Angela von DerHitler, and my country, Venezuela, yearns for freedom.
oh man I don't suppose you would happen to have a link? I'll do some searching but this stuff is hard to dig up
thanks, that table full of :amerikkka: patches and passports was great to see
I pissed away my vote with howie hawkins and i feel like a 100 bucks
The dems picked the absolute weakest thing to impeach him on. Children dying in cages at the hands of the federal government? Not nearly as important to Nancy Pelosi as Hunter Biden getting picked on.
It's not really impeachable to go after someone for just executing on existing federal policy. Don't forget the Democrats were complicit in that one too.
They should've impeached over something financial corruption related.
I just meant literally anything would have been better than ukraine shit.
They could have impeached him on 200,000 dead americans and most people wouldn't even side with him.
It never was gonna get through the senate anyway but it was a weird choice
He violated the ennoulments clause like 900000 times
I haven't seen the impeachment mentioned at all since the primary. I still can't believe the Dems wasted the one power they had and all their political captial on defending crackhead Hunter Biden.
At the end of the day it doesn't matter. The only analysis I've read that makes sense is that Republicans and Dems represent loose coalitions of capitalists. Democrats and "moderate republicans" represent the global finance wing of capital, promoting "free trade" agreements. Republicans represent regional capitalists, like logging an coal, which have generally been hurt by globalization of capital.
So when Trump when after Hunter Biden, it was a genuine attack against his enemies. I think the Democrats swung back so hard on that because they don't see nepotism between government and business as a problem. Trump going after Biden represented an attack on their whole way of life, crossing a line that rich people aren't supposed to. So I think on some levels, it was a genuine move by Democrats that they calculated wouldn't be too offensive to potential voters.
I got a big kick out of Musk claiming he was gonna build a submarine to help trapped Thai kids, doing nothing, getting called out by that dude, and then immediately just calling him a pedophile. What the fuck was that?
Was it? My understanding of linear time, to the extent it’s ever existed, has been annihilated this year.
Huge scumbag move. The poor guy sued for defamation and didn't win. How the fuck is that not a slam dunk against Musk?
seeing chris matthews break down on live television
Is there anyone sincerely opposed to Fidel Castro killing Chris Matthews in Central Park.
We should have a national referendum on it. It'd probably get like 95% support
tbh you could probably even get that bill through Mitch McConnell's senate
The riots / protests showed that people have the energy, they just need to not be co-opted by liberals which is easier said than done. But it really feels like Bernie and Corbyn's greatest contributions to the left was ending capitalist realism. While their electoral projects failed, they introduced a whole generation that a whole different world is possible. Now I hope they can retire in peace and watch us make that better world.
What was your favorite event of the past four years?
People getting milkshaked
I can't even eat my baked beans without spilling them all over the front of my clothes during the screening of Cars 2 at the cinema now!
My favorite moment of 2020 was this guy who stole a police horse.
Modern Paul Revere.
I'm actually tearing up watching this. It's fucking beautiful.
My roomate and I watched that like thirty times in a row when it first came out
I'm pretty sure this isn't real. Around the time this happened I think it came out that the horse actually belonged to the rider. Massive props for the morale boosting though. Counts as praxis in my book.
Man, there’s so many moments. The sinking of the armada of beautiful boaters, the absolute dud when the mueller report was handed down, the histrionics at the Hillary “victory” party, chapo’s election night 2018 coverage :partiotism: (the last good content they produced), the John brown posting, the quarantine, the ban, the hunter Biden foot job, Scarramucci, Avenatti, and I know it makes me a lib, but that moment for a day after Nevada when it looked like BERNIE COULD STILL WIN, that was a good time.
chapo’s election night 2018 coverage
KILL YOURSELF AND EVERYONE AROUND YOU!
the histrionics at the Hillary “victory” party
four years later and i still cant believe she came out to make her concession speech in a fucking vampire costume
looks like leftovers from halloween to me

I see what you mean, but she really was trying to pull off "Global President in a dystopian scifi" the entire campaign season.
I don't even remember what hte Mueller report was supposed to be about.
that was the first chapo clip i watched, after that i decided that i should suscribe to the subreddit
Soo many to choose, including Trump trying to kill his own supporters recently, but I'm going to have to go for Trump bringing a McDonald's and Wendy's feast for some visitors. I mean just look at this pic, the energy it exudes is just incredible. The pile of big Mac's on a gold platter, Trump's pose and expression, just everything. It just sums up the decline perfectly imo
You know that's the happiest Trump's ever been in the White House in the past four years, he's one of the few ultra rich people that actually likes fast food. Remember the "big scandal" about him putting ketchup on really expensive steaks and ordering them well done? Truly hilarious lol
Fuck what did Matt say were the two best moments (from trump’s perspective) of his presidency? This was one, like “sports team hamburger party” and something else. It cracked me up.
The blizzard Gamers (it's ok I can say) threatening to boycott Blizzard over suspending hearthstone players and then proceeding not to, was the funniest fucking thing in the planet.
Gamers be like: #FreeHk. Fuck blizzard. Deleting my account
Then oh shit technical support how can I get my Blizzard account back, I didn't mean to delete it I swear!
Gamers: Free HK Boycott Blizzard Also Gamers: I wanna fuck my Mei waifu pillow.
I think the funniest thing was a) making Mei the HK symbol when she is not canonically from the region b) the actress supported the government action against the CCP.
I didn't know anything about the Mei stuff. That's fucking hilarious.
Found a reddit thread about it just now and the hoops they were jumping through to convince themselves that she was saying things against her will is actually fucking bonkers.
Le epic redditor's thought process:
She's a moron. And if she isn't than she's a shill. And if she's not a shill she's brainwashed. And if she's not brainwashed the government is threatening to execute her entire family and everyone who ever laid their eyes on them.
Honestly, Chapo if anything will be a time capsule of the Trump years. Kinda wild.
