This is a real question I really like the fantasy setting even the world building but for love of all that is holy why I can I not find anything that isn't horny and gross, I just have fond memory of playing online fantasy games with friends, I feel like i'm losing my mind Is it so much to ask for a good story maybe even romance and but with no silly male power fantasy/ fanservice? :inshallah: I will take any suggestions that meet the non horny/ no useless female characters/ shitty male characters I feel like I'm asking for too much.

Check out "Twelve Kingdoms". 42 episodes and it plays out a bit like El Hazard minus the fan service. Also, pretty much the opposite of "useless female" archetype.

Escaflowne is another excellent Iskai. Easily one of my favorite anime, it came out at the same time as Evangelion, so it has a similar art style and pacing. The main character is definitely a fish-out-of-water, but she's pivotal to the plot and an engaging protagonist.

Finally - and this is only Iskai in the broadest sense, but it does have some great world building - if you can get through the silliness of the first four or five episodes, Trigun always had a special place in my heart.

Magical Knight Rayearth and Escaflowne. They were written for a young girl demographic, so they avoid the grosser sex tropes and focus more on feelings and more developed characters. EDIT: I would also add Record of Lodoss and Slayers, although they're not really isekai

      Record of Lodoss

What if D&D but Anime? A bit choppy in the delivery, but overall a great show.

If you like that series, check out The Black Moon Chronicles comic. Very similar style and mood.

Slayers isn't Isekai, but it's basically a spiritual predecessor to Konosuba (with maybe 10% of the latter's problematic stuff)

I’m looking for an anime without any gross bits in it.

    So have we all

It does have an anime btw, but I honestly preferred the manga. The anime just didn't have the same charm the manga had imo

Unless the manga has a completely different character design for Ariel I'm going to say this doesn't qualify.

I'd recommend the novel over the manga, from my understanding it cuts out giant chunks of world building and most of the human side of things which gradually gets more important.

Ascendance of a book worm is really good, the anime is just sadly very low budget, if it turns you off try the manga

Children of the Whales still takes the cake as one of the most interesting fantasy shows I've seen. Unfortunately its only one season but its really good and crucially, not horny.

Inuyasha waas the original Isekai, features a female protagonist and isn't horny at all.

For a fantasy world without isekai you have Akatuki no Yona which is top tier though the anime is lacking but the manga has been going for ages and it's just straight up solid. Flip Flappers is sorta isekai but also sorta not, they do dimension hopping and it's wholesome as fuck, though there like one episode where it gets kinda horny. Re:Creators is like a reverse isekai bringing characters from other worlds into ours, it's interesting and not too horny from my memory, but it sorta flubs the ending. For one that recently aired you have Seijo no Maryoku ha Bannou desu where it is isekai and isn't horny, it's primarily aimed at an adult woman audience. It's all for the royalty though since it sorta is a reverse harem though not really. Bofuri isn't particularly horny either but it's a VRMMO that the characters leave from time to time.

You are asking for a lot, somehow. I'd also love a non-pervvy isekai. The closest one I've seen is probably Rising of the Shield Hero but that still has some of that, and is a harem.

It is a relative scale I guess. On the deep end you have the protagonist be a literal rapist.
