This is my other cat, the one I mentioned got adopted from a shelter a few months back, and that has a heart murmur.
In this picture, she's sitting in a pan, in the kitchen, having found a new spot that she likes to curl up in.
I think that she's a really, really cute cat, and I love her.

I don't know where to post this but I'm putting it here...
I bumped into an ex-Labour MP (who lost to the Tories last election) who knows me a little bit in a pub this weekend and they couldn't help but gush how exciting it was that they were in the US recently and had a meeting with David Miliband and Hillary Clinton.
I asked them what they met about and they said enthusiastically "winning strategies".
I had to actually put my hand over my mouth not to do a spit take and cover them in beer. They looked legitimately hurt so I apologised before excusing myself to burst out laughing elsewhere.
These people are living in an alternate reality.

I’ve picked up a new hobby recently, and that hobby is “Shoplifting”

There’s this awful assumption that just won’t die that men are both always welcoming of sexual advances and that they can defend themselves from them if they’re unwanted (which creates a victim blaming mentality that any non-rebuked advance is therefore validated as wanted too). It's strange how the people complaining about being inconvenienced by strikes always come to the conclusion of "the greedy unions should just stop", and never to the conclusion of "the company should not cut those jobs"
