Lots of news agencies pulling out the term 'limited ground incursion' I really wonder who falls for this shit
Their laughable propagandistic 'special military operation'
Our accurate and reasonable 'limited ground incursion'
Truly an incredible parody we have been given
I hate it.
Oho you really fall for the russian propaganda of it being a "special military operation"? You hapless fool, I am not so easily deceived.
OMG slay limited ground incursion to defend yourself in another nation that you've bombed to defend yourself.
'Lesser evil' is unironically considered good in mainstream media, so I assume a lot of people are falling for this shit.
It's funny how often they cheer for "lesser evil" like it still isn't evil. Pretty sure Sophie wasn't celebrating her Choice, motherfuckers.
It's exactly what it says on the tin. It's evil. They know it's evil, but they throw up their hands and say, "it is what it is" and engage in evil. The evil has become so banal that it is a matter of course to practice it.
FULL-SCALE: BAD SLAVIC HORDE STUFF
LIMITED: GOOD WHITES DOIN' THEIR GOSH-DARN BESTthe grown ups in the room making the tough calls for limited incursions
It will be a limited ground incursion, in the sense that Israel will completely blanket the area with bombs before doing anything on the ground. And they can do it forever, since the US will just give them more bombs.
The best way to de-escalate a situation that could blow up into a regional war is... uh... Assassinating the leader of one of the main belligerents and then doing a ground invasion. Yes.
Their form of going to the table over Gaza involved assassinating one of the negotiators so this isn't out of character for their insane thought processes
honestly netanyahu made an explicit declaration of intent to ethnically cleanse north gaza; and this may well be both international and logistical cover to bring heavy equipment to the north of gaza and carry that out. They are now in a 21/2-front war and may well have triggered WW3 but nobody ever claimed the zionists were well-grounded in their decisionmaking.
Vividly hearing the intro to World Destruction by Time Zone play in my head reading that
Netanyahu keeps making speeches about how they're going to overthrow Iran. They want to start WWIII so fucking bad.
allegedly he's going to jail for corruption and other stuff if the war ever ends
Fuck it, fedposting
I want to see so many NATO officials and Zionists swinging from lampposts that you can use them as wind farms
There is no end to this, they will not rest until everything is dead and not a single Zionist will change their mind because doing that already means admitting things you can never be forgiven for
I'm gonna add my own fedpost in here
I want to see them all crucified and eyes taped open so they're forced to watch decolonization happen right before them.
Oh and also build a bonfire near where they're crucified and only light it during the spring or summer.
America really needs (deserves, really) a nuke dropped on it.
Put these assholes in check.
You want to be so flippant about human life? Hopefully someone comes along and gives America that same fucking treatment.
Fuck America and fuck Israel.
send israel 20 billion for every innocent idf soldier killed by hamas
(0 dollars cause no iof soldier is innocent)
There are reports of large numbers of troops and tanks moving to the border, so it seems like they are really going to do it.
On paper, Hezbollah still has everything they need to defeat such an invasion. Either the Israeli leadership is fully detached from reality, or they have more cards up their sleeve.
Also, from what I've heard, it sounds like Israel will invade through Syria in an attempt to bypass defenses in Lebanon. But both Hezbollah and Syria have probably been preparing for that for a while now.
it sounds like Israel will invade through Syria in an attempt to bypass defenses in Lebanon
I feel like I'm being baited into an analogy
opening up a 3rd front in order to open up my 2nd front, in order to, uh... what was I doing again
How's the situation in Syria? I don't think they would appreciate Israel troops on their land
It may force a response from Assad that could end in an attept to liberate Golan heights, the syrian army is currently 130k strong who are experienced thanks to the civil war
They wouldn’t appreciate it, but the Syrian government’s capacity to respond to Israel has been severely hampered by the internal situation
they have more cards up their sleeve.
A ground invasion against Syria will fix the Gazan and Lebanese fronts!
Either the Israeli leadership is fully detached from reality
They are fully detached from reality. They have effectively opened up three fronts in the past month.
Let’s just assume full scale occupation is successful on all fronts, they’ve just welcomed a half dozen legitimate insurgencies that they have no chance of overcomingn in the long run. Zero. They are fucked.
Our enemy’s Special Military Operation
Our ally’s ground operation
i hope every IOF nazi walks over a landmine, an IED, i hope they all get shot, i hope they all get captured and put into prison and made to assemble bombs for hezbollah to drop on the zionist entity
Personally I hope they all step on a rake and then when they've gone "uuuurgh" and step away from the rake they step on another rake then they go "uuuurgh" and step on another rake and then they go "uuurgh" and step into a deep hole full of rakes.
and each rake is smeared with the leaves of that Australian plant that pushes nanoscale barbs in you that leave you in agony for years
After Iran's massive fuckup I'm no longer confident on predicting how this will go.
Fully prepared to read about how Israel just rolled in with zero opposition because Anthony Blinken promised each member of the resistance $3.50 if they just didn't do anything.
Iran didn't really retaliate against israel killing the leader of hamas on iranian soil, apparently this was because israel proposed that if they didn't retaliate there would be a ceasefire in gaza, a proposal which iran seemed to have accepted, since hezbollah probably knew about this deal it's speculated that they might've relaxed security a bit and left israel an opening to attack them and, of course, there's no ceasefire in gaza so they lied. And iran believed
hold on a sec, i need to be brought up to speed here. something isn't lining up for me
you're saying israel didn't tell the truth????
alright, that's a wild one. next you'll tell me america was in on this lie with them
do you have a source? seems insane to believe that anyone would honour israel's attempts at negotiation
i think he might have been talking about this https://edition.cnn.com/2024/08/12/middleeast/israel-hamas-ceasefire-talks-iran-attack-intl/
I saw it in the last megathread but going back to it it seemed to just be allegations so it may not be true
I assume not responding to Haniyeh's assassination and then the new president basically saying Hezbollah's gonna lose
I really hope that Mike Davis’s prediction of a small scale nuclear conflict breaking out in regional wars was off the mark.
