Remember that it took nukes 90 miles away from Miami to get the US to pull it's nukes out of Turkey. No diplomacy, no appeals to shared humanity, it took pointing a gun at the head of every urban American to get America to back down.

Did the US pull the nukes out of Turkey in the end?

No idea when exactly they were put back though it seems sometime in the '70s because they were worried about the Turkish coup in '71 and/or '80 getting a hold of them (supposedly they were rendered inoperable by US at this point).

They also had some in Greece I’m reading, but withdrew them after Greece’s military junta’s coup in 1974. US is handing out nukes like tic tacs.

Now I have to wonder how many nuclear weapons Erdogan has access to.

i believe the base they're at in turkey is mostly turkish troops as well, so they really are basically turkey's weapons if they really wanted them

          According to 1 google search

NATO. Of the three nuclear powers in NATO (France, the United Kingdom and the United States), only the United States is known to have provided weapons for nuclear sharing. As of November 2009, Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Turkey are hosting U.S. nuclear weapons as part of NATO's nuclear sharing policy.

          So sounds like no lmfao
