I didn't know much about it, but just looked it up. For anyone else who is as uncultured as me:

The novel is among the most beloved works of literature in East Asia, and its literary influence in the region has been compared to that of the works of Shakespeare on English literature. It is arguably the most widely read historical novel in late imperial and modern China.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms is amazing. War, love, treachery, bitchin guitar solos, 2nd century chemical warfare, LU BU, deception, intrique, and a lot of digressions about horses. Absolutely ace. You should read it.

I just did a quick search and...

The Three Kingdoms - Episode 1 English Subtitled Edition

Edit: It's listed as being episode 1 on a playlist of many more episodes (though episode 6 is mysteriously missing). It looks like the link RandyLahey provided is the one to go with instead.
Yeah, the link I provided is titled as episode 1 but when the video is played, on screen it shows as episode 95, so... probably not the best place to start. Never trust a title, I guess.

this is definitely not the first episode, this looks like right near the end...

:shrug-outta-hecks: I only went by what it was labeled. I'll edit to refer to your link instead.

I've been watching King's War (also known as Legend of Chu and Han) on Netflix, from the same director and featuring much of the same cast, and it's also pretty goddamn cool. The guy who'll become the founder of the Han Dynasty is a small-town prankster and no one has any idea that he'll be the emperor in, like, a decade. Meanwhile, Xiang Yu is clearly in love with a horse, Ziang Liang is recruiting a strongman to throw a giant spikey ball at the emperor's chariot, and because of weird editing the episodes end in "cliffhangers" that are really just pauses in conversations. I'm having a blast.

Edit - Lu Bu from Three Kingdoms plays Xiang Yu; the Qin king from Hero is Liu Bang.
