what's baffling to me is everyone pretending like this is a new problem. dude was clearly going senile in the primary debates 4 years ago.

yeah.. once the media stops propping him up, then the libs have to turn around and act like they've been saying it all along too which is the really maddening part of it all

I think a lot of libs have been saying it all along, actually. It's just that those types usually follow up with "BUT I'D STILL VOTE BLUE IF HE WAS A ROTTING CORPSE THAT RECENTLY DIED OF BUBONIC PLAGUE AS LONG AS THE CORPSE ISN'T TRUMP"

I loathe the posts where they're like "I'd vote for an emaciated, one legged nazi dog that just bit me and is stuck to my ass like a cartoon dog and now I'm on my way to the hospital over trump"

Like no shit! That's what they're counting on!

Everything since the debate has felt like it should be the straw that breaks the camel's back, but nothing fucking happens. Please just give us Kamala losing 45 states, it'd be so goddamn funny.

So what is the FUNNIEST outcome right now?

It used to be Biden winning the electoral vote but losing the popular vote.

Now I think it is Biden staying in to the last moment, then the party selecting Hillary Clinton as the Dem nominee and Hillary losing to Trump.

Idk, if they swear you in on a second term, I'd like to see him stumble through it. Live, uncut, has to repeat basic words. It'd be pretty amazing to watch him fuck it up.

He'll motion for Roberts to just keep reading, Roberts will awkwardly acquiesce, Biden will say "I do" at the end and will turn to kiss somebody who isn't there.

Dems did blue Jan 6th in 2016! But it was writing letters to electoral college electors and begging them to switch their votes to Clinton.

Very loser shit, Republicans at least did a pointless rally and a capture-the-flag type event where they believed that if they hold down possession of Congress for long enough, Trump gets to stay president.

Biden and Trump are the nominees, both die the day before the election, it goes to Harris vs Noem, neither of them get 10% of the vote, The Worm is sworn into office.

Funniest outcome is both candidates dying before the election and then a tie in the electoral college

All the choices are the accelerationist choice. It's 3 brain damaged old men crowded into the driver seat, each kicking wildly at the pedal and slapping each other like a 3 stooges gag because they want to be the one to make the car go vroom, with a shared iron grip on the wheel locking the course right towards a cliff and insisting that that's ok, because they're confident the car can fly.

None of them seem to notice that they're at the bottom of the cliff and that that wall is racing towards them.

That's the only good thing about this election, either way the president is guaranteed to be funny for at least another 4 years

Unless one of them dies, then it becomes hilarious

Well to be fair, Biden is at his most lucid when talking about all the weapons he'll use on the global south. Like the man is relishing in the idea of doing American imperialism.

This domestic electoralism shit is cramping his style.

It's common for demented people to cling on to what matters the most to them. When my grandfather got dementia the first thing to go was bookkeeping and accountancy but he remembered his great grandchild and how proud he was of them until the very end. Similarly with Genocide Joe the desire to murder brown people still burns as bright as always.

There was an episode of This American Life in which a physicist with Alzheimer’s forgot how to draw/read a clock, but because he spent so many years doing analysis and problem solving, was able to reason toward a procedure to do it anyway. And was able to comprehend his own decline if he reasoned through it.
