Kyle Gass, true heart of the poster, put the tenacious in tenacious d, Jack Black, true pants of the pisser, put the money in his mouth and his whole ass in front of the camera

    honestly really repellent behavior

It also makes all their other "edgy" humor just seem conpletely cringe.

They make fun of pearl clutches getting mad at rock music because it's the devil so made rock songs about the devil and rocks but if somebody says something mean about a fascist that's a bridge to far.

Jack Black would rather still be in kung-fu panda 27, instead of being tethered to a guy who pulled a kathy lee griffin by going in too hard on trump for civility-minded people.

what kathy griffin did was significantly cooler and more hardcore! that's part of what makes it so gutless; this is basically a nothing statement that literally billions of people would casually agree with and it's being treated as if gass came out and said "i am a full-fledged neo-nazi, i have killed before and i will kill again, a very special thank you to my boy jack for making it all possible!" it's so far beyond ridiculous.

Jack Black definitely agrees, he's just a hyper careerist with a very manicured public persona. These people believe in their careers above all, and that's what this is about. All PR.

He probably has enough money to live on for the rest of his life without working again if he wanted to. At that point, you either have principles or you don't and Jack Black clearly doesn't.

The vast majority of his audience fwiw. If you're familiar their on-stage dynamic, its totally in character for Gass to say something like that nonchalantly and have Black wildly over-react.

Hitler was a vegetarian artist. If history made him into a fascist leader it was inevitable. It would have been any other person there.

What you gotta go is give him a how to draw book so he gets into art school.

Yeah, but if you were to take a period appropriate luger to every child in that post war period that was a rascist little shit you would have to wipe out like, half of all of them at least.

Which is a good bit but the time paradox would be too great. You go kill all those kids to stop the holocaust then a German time traveler goes back in time to stop you stopping the holocaust and then it restarts the mess. You both bleed out in an unkown back ally in Munich. Baby Hitler is traumatized because what the fuck did he just see.

To paraphrase a joke seen on Naked Capitalism the other day.

Partisans are in the hills near a pass where Hitler is scheduled to travel through, preparing their rifles for an ambush. They wait, and wait, and wait, but Hitler and his entourage never arrive. One partisan turns to the other and says, "Gee, I hope nothing happened to him."

Especially australia. They've been dying in wars they couldn't possibly have any way to benefit from for American imperialism for decades.

Also Trump is a global figurehead for dumbshit fascists, look at the Twitter page of the guy who proposed the deportation. You would literally never guess that he wasn't an American Trump fan, every post is about Trump, almost never about Australia except saying aus should be more like America.

Liberals have no material analysis and they rarely have any skin in the game when it comes to politics. They're not going to starve, they're not getting killed, they are not getting tortured, they're going to be fine no matter whether the emperor wears a red or a blue tie. It's all like a team sport to them, you might get really excited about your team and use big words but you would want them to win within the accepted rules of the the game. You would think it would be beyond the pale if someone from you team brought a gun to the pitch and started shooting at the other guys.

Jack Black is currently working for the Dems so this makes sense in that they wouldn't want his campaigning for Biden to be associated with endorsing the assassination attempt.

It's cringe obviously. But it makes sense in the context that he's literally part of their campaign and that being against it is the party line.

I think it'll blow over after the election and they'll be back together. Purely happening because of the "Rock the Vote" gigs that Jack is part of(cringe warning). With that said the claim that Rock the Vote is "non-partisan" is obviously bollocks.
