Literally what I told them, either Leftists didn't make a difference and Harris floundered on her own, or Leftists made a huge difference and Harris intentionally rejected them, failing.

That shit really makes my blood boil. I work tirelessly at Langley to prevent that exact thing from happening! If a leftist is posting too good then I report them to get injected with cringe takes and nanobots. You think I'm just twiddling my thumbs if someone starts rocking the boat??? Sincerely, fuck you!

I have a bunch of coworkers who love using .world too! They sort of look at me funny because I have to monitor "that website where the pig shits itself." But .world and Langley are literally on the same side so it's extra hurtful when they belittle my job like that. It feels like a betrayal, honestly...

The ruling class (emboldened since Trump. Not the other day, the first time) is ramping up division to try and win elections because it really works on barely engaged proles.

They're hiring ad companies to throw anti labour ads on Facebook (which Australian millennials still use for some reason). Those ads weren't even true, Labor is no way that based, and they disguised them as shitposts instead of sponsored political attack ads.

Luckily the (relative) lack of Christian nationalists compared to the US means there's a much weaker Evangelical base.

57% of male Latinos went for Trump l, something like 75% of white males did.

      Obviously it's the Latinos fault.

Oh and white women voted for Trump for a third straight election make sure to keep that in mind if another pussy hat protest pops up.

Dems can get the entire party to coalesce around a unified message overnight and kill a campaign in a week.

As long as its a progressive.

It's just a matter of their priorities.

They could have wiped the floor with Trump but that would have required them to advocate for progressive policies and they'd rather lose while having brunch with the Cheyneys and Branston of the world.

Lots of hardcore republicans where I'm at, and they're saying Trump's lead this time is proof that the last election was stolen. I wouldn't be surpeised if there was widespread voter fraud on the right, but I doubt it would be to the tune of millions to explain the gulf we witnessed.

To add to what everyone else said, lemmy is basically an open source version of reddit. Anyone can create their own lemmy Instance and will have complete control over it just like any other website and can choose who they are linked with.

Lemmy.ml is the "original" website run by the creators of lemmy who are communists. It used to be an explicitly socialist website like hexbear but Its become full of liberals since people left reddit on mass for lemmy almost a year ago.

Lemme.ee is a generic website for anything so its basically like lemmy.ml but not run by communists.

sh.itjust.works is is similar to lemm.ee (a generic website for anything) but is run by reactionaries.

lemmy.world is basically just reddit. I don't recommend you have anything to do with that one. cringe

Yes. Lemmy/the fediverse is this social media platform. It's like email where there are many independent domains that communicate with each other. The biggest servers are lemmy.world, lemm.ee, sh.itjust.works, lemmy.ml, and hexbear.net

Hexbear was separate from the rest until last year so that's why people say it isn't lemmy even though it is.

Do you really think any of us who voted third party were ever going to vote for a genocidal, anti immigrant, imperialist cop? Third parties didn’t take away votes because those votes were not Harris’ by default; they gave a voice to people who otherwise wouldn’t have voted to express their disapproval of this rigged, exploitative system. And to top all that off, even if every third party voter was somehow mandated to vote for Kamala, she still would have lost.

What took a lot of votes away was Kamala Harris losing 15 million voters because she couldn't turn left, kind of like famous politician Dale Earnhardt

Anyway here's a breakdown of the votes that were "taken away".
Incidentally saying they were "taken away" is incredibly stupid. The democrats are not owed anyones vote and assuming a person voting for Jill Stein would vote for Kamala Harris is flawed in a great many ways.
